This has been Melissa since her first season. It’s very obvious the only reason she made up with Teresa after season 5 was because Bravo was done making tre the villain and Melissa knows she has no storyline unless it’s attached to Teresa in some way. Agreed with what everyone said. Melissa came on to purposely take over the show. She turned against Teresa in hopes that the show would revolve around her, her family, and her "signing" career. Shes very conniving. I think Joe Gorga was more along the lines of "let's get in in some of this action" when they came on whereas Melissa was trying to stage a take over and almost succeeded with the help of self righteous Caroline and mental patient Wacko Jacko Laurita. Joe Gorga being not that bright didnt see just how calculating his wife was and went along with it. She got a wake up call when Bravo put the show in hold for a year for Teresa to get out of jail. That showed everyone who was the real star of the show (if it wasn't already obvious). After that Melissa had no choice but to play second fiddle. She still feels she should be the star and lashes out here and there before Teresa checks her to get back in line.
