i come from a background that shares the same mindset when it comes to hosting and my mom definitely went all out with food whenever we had guests. but i don’t really care if the food at someone else’s party was takeout as long as it was edible and accommodated everyone’s tastes. if anything, something familiar gives me less anxiety because i tend to not like other people’s cooking and i don’t have to worry about looking rude if i don’t take something. it’s a KIDS party and kids are notoriously fussy eaters anyways. anything else besides pizza or kfc they wouldn’t have touched. the only time i might’ve had a problem with it was if the pizza had a million toppings besides cheese or pepperoni.

Jennifer already revealed on a recent podcast that she comes from humble beginnings and that when she first married her husband he didn't have a lot of money as a younger doctor. He had to work up to the lifetsyle that they have now. Her house is bulit from the ground up new, but if you pay attention to the deocr, she has no t an iota of style, discenment, or taste, and you can clearly see that (in her own words) her furniture comes from China. She also revelaed that she's frugal in real life and only wears $1 store makeup. So this act she's putting on about opulence and appearances is part bluff, part ignorance...or both...and Melissa is right, you don't create and keep generational wealth by spending everything in a single lifetime.

I think Jennifer is really overstepping her boundaries and doesn’t know when to not concern herself with things that don’t pertain to her. Jackie’s money and how she spends it is really non of her business. Now with that being said I do agree with her about her kids party. Not saying she had to spend thousands of dollars but she could have but more effort into it. To me the party seemed like a spur of the moment type thing. The party didn’t really seem special, but something that could be done any time.
