That last Chef is really freaking awesome. She was 100% on point with her thoughts about those requests. I don't understand how these charters don't have at the minimum, a Chef and a Sous. Three meals a day and snacks for the guests, plus you have to feed the crew. It's way too much for one person. As an aside, I've seen a handful of episodes with her, and she puts out top quality dishes. She really rocks it.

I have seen super yachts with a Chef and a Sous. There is a female Chef who has a KZbin channel showing her working together with a female Sous on a super yacht. There is also a channel with a captain and his girlfriend who also works on the super yacht. This couple actually lives on the super yacht and only has a small vacation home on land since they are almost always living on the super yacht. P.s. I agree some of these guests have ridiculous request or say I dont eat chicken as this what poor people eat. A lot of them are spoiled rich people who can be very annoying. I experience it myself because my father taught rich people how to drive their expensive yachts.

We would bring our own food and these rich people who didnt even bought the boat yet didnt bring their own food. So as a child I had to give all my food to, the rich people couldnt care less I was hungry. It was not a catered trip with food and these rich people weaseledd there way in to drive with us with was just a mechanical tests of the engines. They always got in the super yacht buy telling my fathers boss they would buy the boat, they never did. People who buy these boats come with the whole family, wife children and act very grateful to be on the boat. I also cleaned a lot of super yachts for celebrities who said they were interested in buying the boat, they almost never did. These celebrities go around different boat vendors and get a full free day on the lake on yacht with the entire family. That is what you get away with being a celebrity. My father did one cool for TV show with a Miss Europe contest all with beautiful girls om board and ,my father had to splash water over them with the boat itself to get a wet t shirts contest look going. Funny enough one of these hot models knew my father from somewhere else and kissed him to greet him in front of all his colleagues who all went wtf is that and how do you know her.

She was amazing, I agree with the sentiment that a chef should have a sous as well. I remember on below deck med the crew being all annoyed at the chef for not making their food and it's like.... okay, how about you spend 12hrs a day in a hot kitchen constantly cooking for these ridiculous guests and then find time to also make food for the crew. While it's the chef's job to do it, they don't get to jump in the water all the time like deck crew and have their fun. A sous chef to help out would make such a huge difference. I don't understand why they always have one chef.

She’s only hilarious on tv. When you’re working in a career where you should not only show respect for your superiors, who showed her respect after a really rude and disrespectful comment about the people that are spending good money to get a quality meal on their luxury trip on a multi million dollar yacht, that’s not funny. It’s embarrassing. Captain Lee tried to defuse her by saying maybe they aren’t as bad in person, yet she reply’s with a “F-You”? That’s not funny in my opinion. That’s a sure way to lose the respect you earned by making 5 star meals and working your way up to a privileged position. Saying something so disrespectful to your boss, let alone the captain of a large luxury yacht, isn’t a good way to advance your career. Especially saying it on camera for a large tv audience to witness, isn’t funny at all. I get that it’s tv and entertainment. But Rachel seems to be the type of person that doesn’t care if there’s a camera. She’s going to be rude, disrespectful and truly sad whether there’s people listening or not. She needs to get some help through a therapist to calm her angry and emotional responses towards others. She’ll be a happier person and gain respect and better career opportunities by adjusting her emotional outbursts. I hope for that for her. I’m not disrespecting your comment, I’m just trying to put it in perspective.

Don’t even need money to make sure your pets eat well, most raw meat you can buy from a butcher that’s good for dogs is actually cheaper to buy than the garbage canned or bagged dog food
@CarissaConti2 жыл бұрын
@@draqon8094 There's actually a deeper implication to what I meant by people with money. People with money are also usually more aware and educated, and therefore try harder with their pets. It's not even about what somebody can or can't afford. It's the poor people who often treat their pets "like animals," with disregard, feeding them nasty canned supermarket food, and just not treating their pets on the level of a human - in all aspects - the way they should in general. Because their awareness and intelligence is often lacking. Which is exactly why they didn't do well in life, and can't pass that down to their pets. That's been my experience. People who have a bit more money in life usually do better with their pets than the ones that don't. Especially where we live, here in Boca Raton, FL. I'm always commenting that the rich ladies' dogs that we see everywhere here are loved and treated better than most humans are. To say they're pampered is putting it mildly. !! Then you have poor/middle class people tying their dogs to trees and feeding them s h it food and not taking care of them in general.

I could swear that Rachel was drunk in that last seen. I watched that episode and she was drinking wine.. plus if you’ve seen other episodes of her getting plowed she talks like this… haha but I do believe she’s an AMAZING chef!!

If one of the girls were asked to dress up in skimpy outfits and feed them strawberries, sexual intimidation 😡 why do the men just agree to do it. 😵💫

Well that's their own fault, isn't it? They agree to do that. As a woman I wouldn't do that shit idgaf if they fire me.

That last chef really didn't need to disrespect her team in order to communicate her boundaries. Boundaries which I fully support, by the way. But if she isn't willing to display any sort of class then a school cafeteria would be more her type of environment, or better yet, a food truck so she can work alone. You treat your colleagues with respect, no matter what. Even if they disrespect you. If you're not forced into anything then you can just walk away. The situation you're in is your own responsibility. Do not take it out on others.

Did the captain and chief stewardess ignore the fact that Jen was basically sexually harassed?? Like he ended a charter cause a guest jumped in the water…WOULDN’T ANY SENSIBLE HUMAN BEING THINK TO CANCEL A CHARTER FOR THE SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF A CREW MEMBER???? It seems absolutely ridiculous and frankly shocking to me…
@lindabuck27773 ай бұрын
Apparently only us WOMEN get that! Gee, I wonder why?!?! Disgusting company if they don’t heed this matter and ESTABLISH guidelines for protection and take real CARE of their female crew, I would never use them and WON’T recommend them! I was in the business a short while years ago, passed after checking it out! Too much more back when happening regularly! Not much better now, and thank GOD I’m old an ugly now! Seriously!!!🤔🤨🧐🙏🏻

What vile, trashy people. When that girl was shut in the cabin with the couple the trip should have been shut down. Why do these yacht tourists seem to want to demean the crew, humiliate them and even though they have Money there should be some restrictions on treatment of the staff.

Not them acting like the chef was being too much. She is the only chef in the boat and the guys are expecting her to prep a massive breakfast with all sorts of stuff, then lunch, then feed the crew, then also provide a 10 COURSE dinner. It's just impossible

Rachel was amazing even though she got backstabbed by Eddie and Elizabeth. She was right about that obscene list of wants and Cap didn't have her back. SHAMEFUL!!! He didn't want to take her back but didn't say ANYTHING about Kate deserting the boat over NOTHING and she was boozed to the eyeballs too.

Financial struggles/challenges should be a prerequisite in this life prior to being wealthy. Then, in a fair and just world, those who abuse the privilege of living in luxury (by doing things like treating others like crap) should be stripped of their wealth. Of course, I realize this will never happen, but I can dream about it.

@Train 2noplace Yep! Might as well go one year waiting tables, one year working retail in a customer facing position. Maybe that will drive the point home!
