Something really incredible I noticed in this video: somewhere in 9:29- 9:30, the last flag bearer (before the majorette), saw a trash (maybe a piece of paper along the way on the ground). She picked it up & inserted in her waistline (maybe for disposal later). Discipline is a body memory for the individuals, and, cultural memory for a country. I love ❤️ Japan. I love ❤️ band.

@@zaftra No, it is just how children are brought up in Japan. Even at pre-school at age 4 it is normal for all kids to clean up after playing and in school they clean up the school after classes. There is no cleaning staff to clean schools. That is why everything is kept clean, because everybody learns from a young age not to litter and put everything directly in the trash or you have to do it at a later time. And at the age of those high schoolers it is already so ingrained it's an automatic reaction to put the trash where it belongs and clean up after yourself.

These guys are awesome. In case you don't know it yet, nobody tells them how to do anything. It's the older students that teach the newcomers the choreography, the songs, everything. Hello, I'm glad to see your comment that I agree with. Here's a video of 113th Term of 2016-2017. I call it the Battle of the Trains versus Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Brass Band Club. The route can be normally walked in less than 45 minutes. Notice that the lone snare drummer plays every single beat without rest. Oops. Upon listening. I added the number 1 video after the number 2 video, as it was recorded with a better microphone producing better sound.
