There’s a lot of potential in covering brawl esports, you should keep doing it considering no one else does and brawl history isn’t documented at all, you really just had to live through it to remember. Topics like the 2020 WF shitshow due to covid leading to unplayable online matches (and who really should have been champions, my bet is on Jupiter), or maybe the EU no.1 seed curse, 2021 worlds drama with NAVI playing sitting down, China’s brawl esports history… I’m probably missing a lot of more interesting storylines region specifically but these are just the ones I could just about remember

IMO Blood Diamond's Manipulation of servers and their ban as a result was one of the more unfair decisions Supercell Esports has made. Bc Blood Diamond showed so much unsportmanship, I feel like that clouded the community's judgement, because while manupilation of servers is bad, in all fairness, Tribe Gaming could have just easily tricked their servers into giving them zero ping, which is why it just feels so unfair to me.

I remember him, he was among the OG (2019) lineup of tribe. But as you mentioned in the video, he was out by 2020 and the iconic lineup of cori, zoulan and tyrant replaced him, with ezlivi subsequently joining later. Also, I think you may have accidentally rediscovered some 2021 era gameplay from the goat himself, daddy secondbest. (2:25-3:28) I find it funny that two of his teammates at the time were cryingman (now more well known after switching to content creation) and secondbest, who has his own yt channel where he uploads regularly, and is playing in the world finals with the pioneers. Going off of liquipedia, he was still actively competing as of 2024, with West coast no less, but seems to have left back in June, probably realising there was no way they could hope to make to lcq, let alone wf. Tbh, I think if they were better actors in that match against bot crew, and didn't look like they just handed their 9 year old cousins their phones, they could have pulled off that strategy successfully. But that being said, cheaters don't deserve to go to world finals.

I don't think IX gaming is cheating, it's called "strategy". Imagine, your biggest rival is 50 points ahead of you and you have no choice but to eliminate them. I really liked this idea because it shows that they can compete without pinning their hopes on other teams. No Risk no gain, I think the Brawl Stars team is at fault here, how can a person prove that the game is not played at their best? Maybe they weren't in good mood that day or something else happened.
