The problem is not the game itself (kinda, the game has problems obviously) The problem i think, it's how big the percentage of new players is, and how SUPERCELL aims to please these new players with hype-cool-easy to pick brawlers, that at the same time keeps them in the game but not really becoming better just getting cheap wins and being carried by this brawlers Have you seen how Piper (due to how popular she is) became one of the easiest marksman? And how Buzz gets a new skinn almost every new season, the same with Primo? The thing is, what keeps old and conpetitive players in the game is how deeo the gameplay can become if you are willing to get good. New players, mostly kids, don't care about it they just want to feel like they are good, something that's not bad, it's ok wanting to have fun But that's a problem when you mix the casual-havefun community with the most tryhard-getgood side of the community (the smaller side) I'm not even talking about competitive players, just talking about the people who take the game seriously And what happens when you mix people with diffetent approaches? (both of them encouraged by SUPERCELL, maybe the casual more than the other in this recent years) You get bad randoms, really bad because they are new to the game and only play easy brawlers that teach you nothing about the game This is my answer about bad randoms, and the reason why i miss power league, it was so hardcore to get high elo in power league, that new players didn't even touch it, it was truly a mode for people who wanted to get better But that's my opinion On the other hand, (i have 33k trophies, i know it's not a lot, i don't really push trophies) i noticed how even if i have 33k, i have like 11k 3v3 wins, and i play with people that owns like 2k 3v3 wins and exist at the same total trophies or even higher than me And i started playing with this account in like the 4th year of the game, around the otis season i think To me it's crazy how two players with the same amount of trophies have so many differences in general stats And I'm free to play btw to make things worse lmao

The newest update they did where they changed who you get matched with based on trophies on the specific brawler instead of people closer to your actual trophy range, and since then the randoms have gotten 100000000x worse. If your brawlers aren’t above 1k trophies already, you get placed with the literal worst piles of crap that this game could possibly produce, it’s damn near next to impossible to push up to 1k trophies without having someone’s help because the randoms are so bad, unless you use a carry brawler, you WILL lose, no matter how good you are. This was the biggest mistake the that brawl stars has made in its entirety, no one should be forced to play 5+ games just to win 1 game, all because team mates are bots and run straight into the other team to feed and not help you in any way.
