As a Darryl main, I would rather consider him as a C or D tier, of course only if you get the right match up. But sometimes I rely on just one single super and I can flip the game. If you wanna get good at Darryl. Don’t use his super in a straight lines, always rely on the walls, it may seem off and doesn’t reach the opponents first. But trust me, the bounces are more helpful than you think.

Yes, you're right. Darryl can be a more complex brawler than people think. I myself play Darryl a lot (I have his title) and I know that if you don't hit the super directly on the opponent it's much harder to get the kill no matter what brawler the opponent is. The thing is that it's kind of rare to have a moment where you can use the walls for Darryl's super but if you look at 3:11 I actually pulled one off. That's why that one map is very good for Darryl.

As someone who mains Darryl, I strictly mained him at the time cause I was tired of dying to Edgars. He’s still good as long as you don’t miss your shots and use his super at the right time. Even though I don’t die to Edgar’s anymore I still use him.

I don't think he's that bad personally but a lot of people think he is because he gets countered by most of the hypercharge and meta brawlers.
