4:23 here on KZbin i've once stumbled upon a comment in a community posy which went: "Magic, by definition, is the unknown, the lack of knowledge/perspective. Truly, the recognition of ones existencial limits, takes the magic out of it. The more you learn the more you understand how much you don't know, yet the magic seems so much more distance because of it. We have to be going" To which some other user replied with a continuation on that thesis: "Magic is just a force that, without a proper understanding how the forces behind it work, wields an effect on our shared reality, even if we fail to grasp it. But when magic gets studied AND becomes a guaranteed resulte that you can replicate it becomes technology." Uh yeah, it was so deep i had to screenshot it hence why i'm quoting it so perfectly well.... Anyway, yeah, reading it kinda completly flipped my perspective on magic. So yeah, magic is just advanced technology and you could argue it's near the same as sci-fi which is glorified magic.

Maybe the loop isn't just a day long, maybe it's the destiny of Starr park to explode with the fireworks and the green grass, the command of it realised it and restarts from the beginning upgrading the park each time

That makes sense if we consider that the main theme of the park allways changes, like to Wild West to Aquapark and then a Circus. Of course these themes could be separated for "regions" of the park but i think its a good guess.

It's the colloquial meaning, and even if you want to throw it out completely (again it's still valid to be interpreted that way), the "keep your [bright] soul" is meant to be taken literally, since I'm not aware of another way *that* could be interpreted. Which means that ultimately, it doesn't invalidate the theory

Let me clarify something. One of the effects of gems is that they can separate your soul from your body, and then your soul goes to the sky, through space, through a black hole, into another dimension, and then into a brawler. But some brawlers already have a soul like Colette, "teen spirit" and Lola, with her ego, does that mean that they have two souls?

It's not that they have two souls, it's that the soul is separated from the "skin" (that's the true name in several WKBRL ads, but it really just means the body). Lola doesn't have a soul when she's using her ego, it's just outside her body. The only real exception to this is Tara, since she can have up to 4 shades. But considering her star power was made before the lore, we can chalk it up to putting gameplay over storytelling

As for 8-bit, he could theoretically be splitting as well, but that's the only explanation I personally can think of

I hate to say "time anomaly is the answer" because it's just so lazy, but the way the park's timeline has been laid out recently is all over the place-- and not in a good way

I really like this theory but maybe instead of being like parallel universe, maybe it's potrayed different, like Dani said with "the big pieces might not leave/stay forever", in my opinion, what he tries to say is that some stuff that was relevant back then like when the gift shop season came out might not be a big piece now so they decided to change it up a little bit and while it may retcon stuff, you need to have some logical thinking if you really think Starr Park would show it's true self in an inverstor video, they may cover some things up and those things that happened in the investor video, happened differently in actuallity

From a lore perspective the Investor Video was released by SPUDE, and is meant as a plea for help showing the dangers going on in this universe. If they were covering stuff up, why wouldn't they censor half the video where people get maimed, become orphans, and have their secrets leaked to the world? I think you're right in that they're retconning stuff, but it makes it difficult when we don't know which parts are. And to be frank, I don't think they even know to a certain extent. It's a video I plan on making eventually, but the bottomline is that the CCTV just doesn't mesh well with old lore

Absolutely, I wonder, would that count as death? And no, I don't think directly, but in Poco's case he was only in close proximity. Though, it's implied hypercharges are made through gems (see the ones hidden everywhere in their intro animation), so do what you will with that information

This was pretty much the subject of the theory before this (the Dead and Alive one), where everything that happens in the real world also happens in the simulation/animated world because they're *parallel* universes, meaning the same events are happening I also used to think that brawlers were based on real people, but it looks like it's kind of the opposite, where real people are turned into brawlers (also covered it in that same theory)

I just paste the script into the auto-sync feature of KZbin, and that part was cut out from the final video. It's not really important, it was just saying that Kairos Tim is made up of multiple "parts" through his voice actor, the person under the deepfake, and the "skin" he's wearing

um... good point dude. but i think R-T is Rik. and my reasons are: that gem that started to grow in the room could simply fell into Rik's body like an apple who fell from a tree. and about R-T being an ally... gems do some brainwashing. it was clear Bull was pretty chill and not completely agressive before he touched the gems. and that could have happened in Rik, but instead of making him agressive, made him become an ally of starr park. and the gems can mutate the animals. and there is no evidence it can't do the same to humans. and i believe the amount of radiation in the room made the gem's effect stronger when Rik touched them. yea, feel free to disagree, because that is an opinion after all.

I have a question, what is the gameplay in Brawl Stars itself? gameplay in Brawl Stars, e.g. knockout, are these brawlers fighting each other in starpark or what? I have a theory that this organization moved brawlers to the game so that they wouldn't do any more damage and this explains the gameplay in Brawl Stars, but I don't know

If you want my opinion, Brawlers don't have control over their actions. According to old lore we're controlling them when fighting in game, and it would literally just be us fighting for the fun of it, but the CCTV makes things different, and some stuff could be retconned... And some gamemodes do have direct references (like heist and gemgrab) which encourage the target of Starr Park's brainwashing to collect gems by any means necessary, probably as fuel for hypercharges, powerpoints, and energy. So who knows, lol

@@evebvebeve That's the current theory, but old lore doesn't mesh well with the new lore. Because it feels like they're giving the characters, well... character. Before hand, the idea was that all animations and promotional material were the result of the gameplay in the simulation. Maybe even scripted to show the "happy" and "innocent" side of Brawl Stars. But the CCTV is allegedly the "true origin" of Starr Park, and here we see the characters, that were supposed to be fake constructs as actual people. According to the Investor Video and WKBRL, People become Brawlers. According to the CCTV, Brawlers are based off of people

The first entry shows a security guard chasing after Leon and Nita, with the log entry for that day saying Rik ran after some "juvenile delinquents," which in my opinion means that the security guard was Rik. And considering Rik looks nothing like Gale, and has a different name, AND mentions Gale separately in another log of his, means it's probably unlikely

I'm gonna go on a rant in here lol. I think whatever CCTV was trying to do is a complete failure, it ruins starr park as a force in the brawl universe. Before it used to be this evil park, now it feels like that they are just ignorant and they just allowed the accidents to happen. I guess the devs wanted to remove some of the darker aspects of the story because brawl stars is a children's game, but like c'mon. Children deserve better.. sometimes. Also the new descriptions of the brawlers, they are horrible, most of them. I think Gus and Belle were the brawlers that got hit the hardest (I'd say Willow too cuz I remember from the NTTE podcast they said that she's pretty much a serial killer and now she's just.. nothing)

They've added vague allusions to Starr Corp's involvement (see the Top Secret files on Rik's desk) but other than that, it feels empty... As for the descriptions, I don't hate them as much. Just because the description doesn't talk about it, doesn't mean all that lore about her is gone/retconned. Gus's lore was one of the more interesting ones since he was implied to have been hit by a train, but since there's "no death" and all that, it no longer seems to be the case
