Hey Alvo, currently I'm using a controller and so you asked. First of all, using the joystick is way more viable than using the d-pad. It makes throws and reverse attacks easier. So doing so we can diagonally place the joystick either up-left or up-right for the reverse neutral attacks. I haven't browsed the comment section if anyone else said this, but hopefully this'll help.

@@AlvoFeral it's one of the hardest techs on controller and it's still a bitch to do when not in the air (starting with a not gc dlight) but everybody learns that first so it's muscle memory for everybody. Basically it's the same as on pc, it's just harder to do because of the big thumb movements in such a short timeframe. Also a small tip is to not do the third upward input and just let the stick go altogether when you're pressing the attack button and its still gonna be a nair.

For controllers, the chase dodge reverse Nair is basically like a pivot except the moment you catch them with the Dair, immediately reverse it.

When doing it on controller, I use d-pad because you can press two inputs simultaneously which makes it easier. You set your thumb across diagonally pointed away from you and roll from left-up to right-up as you do it to get the Active Input Nair

3:00 i am sitting in front of my xbox, i just landed this. you dont have to hold three buttons at the same time. you can chase dodge to the side and cancel the chase dodge by aiming your thumbstick diagonal up in the opposite direction of the chase dodge and input a nair. the problem is, you have to do all this at supersonic speed

The chase dodge x pivots are easier to do than he says but are just muscle memory. When you chase dodge you slide your finger across the dpad to turn around and use whichever attack. A good case is revere nairs on gauntlet russian mafias.

To do it on controller, you have to go from right, click your dodge button and then go to top right and click attack and it inputs a nair to the right. This works with anything, say I want to do a neutral sig to the left and I am facing to the right, you just have to go to the top left and it will input neutral sig to the left.

Using the joystick on controller, it's pretty easy. You just do the dodge you want, and flick the joystick to the angle you want. Reverse nair would up-left or up-right. I actually think this mechanic is easier on controller.

About the point at 3:00 It’s actually easy on controller but you need the hoot timing. Just after the forward chase dodge you place the joystick at an upper 45 degrees angle, the opposite direction of the CD. Very hard tho

After you dair you dodge to your opponents as you would on PC, but then flick your left analog stick immediately diagonaly up, away from your oponent and light attack at the same time, hope this was helpful. Works the same on gaunts btw, but it's really hard to get true, maybe even impossible

Wait Alvo I can do it on controller. It's like the same thing as the Russian Mafia, but you have to put your left joystick to upright or upleft direction depending on which side of the screen you are. After you do that, for some people who don't know how to have more momentum during an attack, you have Down air with scythe, then chase Dodge, but don't use a full chase dodge, cancel it with an attack. You can read the person after the Dair if you time your "canceling chase Dodge" to a nair. It will have momentum to continue with the advanced string you wanted to do. Most of all the people who can do this advanced move usually goes for the Dair-CD- AI Nair- CD Dair. You can continue the advanced string with a down air or a weapon toss for a higher Groundpound,(only for more damage it's just an additional move to nearly a death) but this is how you can do the advanced scythe string on controller. It's a difficult move for me, I mess up sometimes, but i do it like 80% of the time since I learned this a month ago.

Nerf stops the momentum, so it doesnt matter now. But as a keyboard user, I can maintain the momentum without letting go of forward. I can turn around and do a nAir without stopping at all (means I travel slightly further when doing a reverse nAir)

PC is like the best gaming system for games. If you know Ryu from street fighter, and his moveset in Smash Ultimate, his shuriuken?(no idea how to spell) is down down-foward foward. thats the input, but instead you do it on the upper hemisphere. so foward(chasedodge) up up-backwards. hopefully someone sees this since its been 3 months. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

For the dair speed Dodge rev nair you have to speed dodge then do the analog Stick diagonal Left up And thats how it Works but for Controller players please Dodge With l1 or r1 otherwise it wont work Because on l2 or r2 You have to pull it down to much and you aren't fast enough

Using controllers can be very hard, yes. But it doesn't mean its impossible. (Former Controller Player) so essentially, u dair into cd. the good thing about cd's, in general, is that it takes time. therefore u can flick the thumbstick towards him (this flicking is something that the controllers excel at, and it allows u to have a bit of time to position ur thumbstick to the next string)
