dang got me there - also im 78.44% sure you're joking, but ill take your comment at face value as a jumping off point to a little aside to the "lesson" of the video. to say "if this setup is so easy, why doesn't it work against Boomie?" is akin to saying "if gauntlet slight to gc slight recovery is so easy, why doesn't it work against Boomie?" or even "if sword dlight sair is so easy, why doesn't it work against Boomie?" truths of the game remain truths no matter if someone's been playing for 2000hrs or for 2hrs. the difference would be the more experienced player making it more difficult (ie: forcing you to hit a combo frame perfect) because they're aware of the scenario they're in. once you hit the dodge read, which is very simple to execute compared to other situations, it's guaranteed 56dmg, and a setup for potentially 80+. that's what i mean when i say it's easy. again, im pretty sure you're joking, but you gave me the idea to go off on a mini tangent. thanks for the comment

Whoever says scythe are broken is because they are: 1.bad at the game 2. Got spammed by a nix or Mordex and are calling them broken 3. Got beaten by it and Are *raging* and are calling them broken. The broken ones are the axe and gauntlets. Axe’s GP and REC hit all around you and it’s fast and spammable (remember Jhala). On gauntlets, the ground pound is too op and are annoying and also spammable (remember Kor)

Why pro brawlhalla players never explain that scythe combos are only true in certain situations? So it's more of a situational combos than an actual true combos. Most combos will have 8 dodge frames, and they will only work well if your opponent has between white to dark yellow health. The closest thing to a true combo on scythe is dash pivot dair, to pivot nair to dash dlight. In total you have 4 dodge frames but it always throw your opponent off making them run into the dlight often. Learning dash reverse nairs, and dodge dash reverse dairs are good, and you can even use the couple invincibility frames in your favor. Only go crazy on aerial combos or gimps after reading a not grounded dodge, because after that anyone will try to touch the ground like crazy, and that's when you stay near your opponent and using nlight so they don't touch the ground. Nlight starts from the bottom so it prevents your opponent from touching the ground. It's hard to pinpoint every scenario because there's a lot to cover, and you gotta change your approach depending which weapon your opponent is using. Feel free to share any tips if you guys have because i feel like i might be forgetting something or i might need to learn something new lol
