Baker went through some issues with the fact its a family feel company that isnt run out of deluxe its run through a distribution company that has made some rather unfavorable decisions over the last few years in order to bring on and keep the brand fresh. They let go of some of the riders who had the least selling boards even though they produce a branded board, unlike say girl/chocolate where you as riders are competing with each other and isn't a branded board you are splitting your sales with. Most people prefer the traditional baker block logo or just the deathwish symbol which they took into consideration just recently with the blocked intro pro boards for baker, and the deathwish symbol pro boards. Though all that said, heres the difference between someone like brayden and someone like spanky. Spanky is back on baker, spanky made his career at baker, spanky has appeal as a baker rider. Brayden is more like herm in the sense, he has a personality and a style that could allow him to think about creating a new company just like when jim and erik saw their time coming up and decided to take their assets that could be better used in a new form and made deathwish. Brayden was around for the muska days, ghetto child and shorties. A time of true personality skating and he could move on with his career in another place without large issue. You also have to remember shake junt (which is the modern day shorties) is massive now and boards are coming out for shake junt, shake junt could have a full riding team soon. Brayden being a rider for the company could certainly do well with a pro board on shake junt. as their riders for deathwish and baker age, but don't want to split out and do the business side. shake junt could be a solution to that,
