Wow, I am so glad I stumbled on your video!!!! I fell in love with brayer techniques when I saw cards of another SU demonstrator. I wanted to take her classes, but they are crazy expensive ($125 for 3 hours Intro class). I figured since the class was so costly that it must be incredibly difficult to do so I hadn't even tried to use a brayer yet. You make it look so EASY!!! I've ordered a brayer & can hardly wait to follow your instructions to make this stunning card!

I just got a brayer today in my order! Super excited to use it, my husband and I watched this video and we're very amazed by your technique, gorgeous card! I can't wait to use it and you're going to inspire my brayer card!

Tami... I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video!! I truly hope that SU realizes their mistake in switching out the brayers & brings back the original Speedball brayer...in any case...any time I come across one at a garage sale or a thrift store I snatch em up (got my last one for $0.50!!) since I'm forever misplacing mine &/or worry that one day my original one will fall to pieces as it's so old. Subscriber & look forward to each new video. Congratulations on your $1.8m milestone!!

Beautiful! I loved your mountain range technique. By the way, Post-It now makes a Post-It note that is fully adhesive on the back. Same stickiness as before, easy to remove, but you don't have to worry about the mask moving.

+stampwithtami.com - Crafting and Card Making from Tami White Not so well, the brayer I have won't pick the ink up properly or evenly. It's a very, very hard black rubber that was very cheap from China. Should I use a different one? I noticed below someone else has the same problem.
@stampwithtami9 жыл бұрын
+silva 167 I can try to troubleshoot, this is the brayer I use: www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=102395&dbwsdemoid=73215 Here's another brayer video that may help:kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXqpgGmXnMxkbbc (ps - My brayer turned black because I used it in a black permanent ink once lol)

+stampwithtami.com - Crafting and Card Making from Tami White Hi Tami, I got another brayer, which works a whole lot better. I think it's like everything, practice makes perfect, I am definitely improving. So Thank you for your help.😊 One other thing, do the Kaleidercolor Stamp pads work OK? I saw them mentioned when I was lookong for the colors for this technique.

Gorgeous-thank you for sharing.i tried with my braver and it was a mess. The roller is a hard surface. Should I get a foam roller; which one are you using please?
@stampwithtami10 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much. This is the rubber attachment to the brayer, not the foam. You want to make sure you use good ink too. the Stampin Up pads are great because they cover almost the full length of the brayer and it helps eliminate lines. You can find more videos on using the brayer and the ink pads on my blog at: www.stampwithtami.com. Let me know what else I can help with. Tami

you certainly can simply by running it under water and drying with a cloth or paper towel, but since I'm going light to dark and using most of the ink you don't have to. Tami

Brenda Gallaher ...you thankfully can still find them at places like JoAnn's Michael's and Hobby Lobby...or check oline searching for a "Staedtler/Speedball soft rubber brayer"...in stores it's usually found in the art/painting supplies section...hope that this helps you.

you can not use pld paper to make masks, rather than scrap paper ? you are rich Américain and you forget that the planet is dying because of deforetation due to the papermaking

+Sierra0209 Sorry, my mistake. Couldn't work out what you saying, but now I do.
@AimzS947 жыл бұрын
Sierra0209 I re-use the same pieces of paper over and over for masks or similar, and recycle any paper that I cannot use again; I even re-use the same pieces of temporary tape when I hold masks down (I weigh smaller masks down); I don't use Post-it notes. Maybe you think I'm going too far? Call me weird if you will!
