Silver lining of the long coronavirus stay-at-home for me was discovering this incredible live recording of one of the favorite recordings from one of my favorite artists. Flute sounds so great in jazz.It is like a compination of impressionistic sound and jazz.

Flute, clarinet, most woodwind instruments sound very good in jazz songs. They're just overlooked a lot since brass is louder.

On a whim after hearing some Chick Corea on KZbin, I bought what the local record store had on hand. Which was the Ultimate Adventure and To The Stars. It took a few listens to absorb the material. But now I hold both these albums in very high regard. This specific album really opened up my ears and expand my mind to help me be able to appreciate music that was outside my normal routine habit. This I'm grateful for! What a fun listen, and to hear it live with so my things different than the recorded version is a treat! My thanks for posting.
