The crime stats are a lie; the numbers are down because the police aren't taking the reports. They fail to respond to the initial call, then call the victim back a day or two later, sometimes in the middle of the night, and ask if they still want to make a report. Of course, the victim usually says no, so the crime goes unreported. OR, the repeat victim, as in this case, simply stops calling, because he knows nothing will be done.

These criminal acts were allowed during the 2020 summer BLM riots and nothing has changed, it has been a free for all since. Cops came in about 5 minutes in Sunnyvale, Ca but cops don't show up in Oakland, Ca which is 45 minutes north next to San Francisco. Cops need to be paid more to get new recruits.

Cops in Oakland are paid well but they cut the force and funds. In addition the County DA wanted to prosecute cops more than criminals so it was in the police's best interest not to respond.

Normally I feel bad for business owners. Not this guy. When I filled at his stations my tank took more gas than I have ever been able to put into my vehicle before according to the meter. Even when the same locations were owned by previous owners I was never able to put as much gas into my vehicle. In fact, the meter showed more gas than the size of the useable volume in my tank once. I don’t trust the meters on his pumps. Highly sus.

You are 100% right. I am born and raised in East Oakland. Those of us who made it out chose not to go, or hang out at the corner store. Besides the poor service, they sell nothing but trash to poor folks at a high cost as they get subsidies and low cost loans from the city or state to open up a shops, after we bombed their home country sending them here. They do not pay taxes on most of what is sold on top of that. They do nothing but add to the poverty and care less about taxes to help local schools and roads etc...
