Yep. But I think they still come second in the group. I was laughing about this to Renk yesterday that no way all 4 of Argentina Uruguay Colombia Brazil were gonna win. Brazil unfortunately the ones to fumble. But yeah from my predictions I still think Brazil come 2nd but their run will end as soon as they face a serious team in the first KO. Which is a shame coz their team isn't actually bad but the team seems so disjointed. Like you were mentioning it's less about the individuals coz they are all underperforming but they are all a shadow of themselves at club level so it now comes to the coach how he is tryna put it together and find something that works for the team they have, similar to the England conundrum.

@@MichaelTalksFootball1 Yeah exactly he's gotta fix up on his end. Coz if your players aren't able to find themselves as a coach you have to keep making tweaks and finding and answer, you can't be stubborn and just expect things to fix themselves. It's genuinely hilarious how the parallels are right now between Brazil and England. Coz whether or not your team is talented, as a coach you have to try and make it play "more than the sum of it's parts" which both teams are struggling to do right now. They are basically hoping and praying for random moments of individual brilliance to carry them

If you call that football you better keep watching the golf tournament. Alfaro is the anti-football. Parking the bus is not football and if they didn't' call offside that legit goal Costa Rica would've taken 4 more. Yes Brazil is not the same that it used to be but make no mistake, It was an accidental draw. And stop talking greatness of Colombia. It's an ok team that always flunk when the rubber meets the road. Paraguay put them in trouble the whole second half and it was very close to tie the game. Calm down Michael. We still have a long way to go.

Time will tell if Colombia are the real deal or once again frauds

First half from Colombia was masterful and in second they got way too comfortable. The conceced goal was quite shameful for CO - 3 Paraguayans left with only 1 defender. After that I held my breath until the final whistle. If match would have ended 2-0 or even 3-1 (just scoring after 2-1) - I'd be confident Colombia tops the group and would even be favourite vs Uruguay. After 1st round I give better chances to Uruguay, but most likely in semi-final (it's still more likely Colombia wins the group). So how everybody in Colombia played? James - man of the match. I rate him 9/10 yesterday. It would have been 10/10 if he scored at least once (lately he cannot do that, can he?). Rios - also excellent. Munoz, Vargas, J.Arias - very good. Lerma - very good, but he gets yellow cards way too often. If he gets one vs Costa Rica, match against Brazil will be very difficult to win since his sub is Uribe (to me weakest player from the ones that play regularly). Lucumi - good, but sucks he got injured. Even if fit he should not play vs Costa Rica to be fully fit vs Brazil. Hopefully he recovers for at least knockout stage. Lucho - hard to say he was bad, but not lived up to expectations. Although it's hard to do when you're constantly outnumbered by 2-3 guys. And he kinda had Liverpool Nunez's aim yesterday. Masterful dribbling vs 3 Paraguayans in 1st half though. Sanchez - ok. Mojica - average. I'd go with Machado next time. Mina - liability. Like you said - Cuesta instead of him. Borre - I don't know if he even touched the ball yesterday. Got to admit - I had hopes for Cordoba scoring. Anyway, somebody else than Borre should start. I assume Costa Rica's tactic is to play for 0-0 vs Brazil and Colombia and then to win against Paraguay. Colombia should really focus on offense in this match and rest players like Lerma and Lucumi for them to be 100% available vs Brazil. And dear Colombians - definitely don't rest after amazing 1st half!

I would say Rios was man of the match! It wasn't the best Colombia performance but a perfect test for this Copa America!!

As much as i think Brazil made a very poor performance, people are overreacting about this game. To say things like "worst Brazil game ever" things like that?? In fact i really thought this game would end 0-1 Brazil win or something since Costa Rica would obviously park the bus as hard as they could. Maybe you guys just overestimate Brazil too much.

Imo Brazil have not recovered from the 7-1 in 2014. Brazil need to play with a recognised ST. Also I think Paraguay played a okay game against Colombia.

Paraguay looked actually decent vs Colombia, Enciso scoring was massive. Brazil better be worried!

Props to Costa Rica for just having the game plan of parking the bus. They executed perfectly. But let’s not get carried away with one game. Adjustments will be made.. Brazil has aura and they’ll bounce back.
