Have so many Brazilian friends that absolutely love their country, culture, geography, etc. But just cant stand the whole situation there with crime and especially government corruption. So many of their talented people just choose to leave sadly. It is a shame given Brazil has the population, resources and the land mass to be global powerhouse.

Just wanted to chip in and add my two cents. When it comes to opening up a business it's a good idea to watch out for levels of corruption in a country. Do the laws work? Would you have effective paths for recourse if things got bumpy? Perhaps things will work out for small or medium sized businesses but if you ever blow up, things might be confiscated from you, forcefully or through "law", and to be fair, like you said, in developed nations all seats are taken up already. Perhaps in the end it's more about you fitting in, which I understand. In any case keep up the good work, Chase. Rooting for you.

@@sawmill6344 I totally agree with you corruption definitely does play into how successful you can be but red tape also prevents you from growing. Honestly I think corruption is better than red tape because you can always pay to advance red tape blocks you at every corner. I’ve been there.

You be having some the realest life abroad experiences of a black/brown man on KZbin. I got my daughter into your channel because she noticed that quality about you as well. I'm trying to get her to see can potentially be better and greater outside of the U. S. I left in April 2023 one month before my halftime 50th birthday and never looked back.

The US is good if you have a lot of money but I can tell you there are better options if someone is willing to put in the time do a little traveling and explore.

@CHASE88888 True with all you said. Before I turned 40 I was retired due to a work related medical event. Bought a 2 family for cash in 2010 lived there 10 years but then covid showed me the true colors of the people around me so I left. Where I'm at now allows me to live good and save a modest amount each month.

chase, do you think someone from brazil could find more happiness in general in japan? seeing how disorganized and dangerous brazil is in comparison. this question is a little subjective but i wanted your thoughts on it anyways if you have any. thanks for the video, very interesting as always. also, dont stand around in the streets like that, you stick out like a sore thumb lol it gave me anxiety

I think that if you are part of the under class in Brazil your life will improve in Japan as most people in Japan are in the middle unlike Brazil . Upper class people rich people in Brazil will be exited for a few minutes till they understand their life was better in Brazil because they were able to do the same and more. But I also believe no foreigner will ever be totally comfortable in Japan.
