This was a new fresh squad after 2002 so they needed time to work together.Even the 2002 squad needed time after 98 to fix themselves But somehow everyone fell out of form before 2010 incredible.This was for me the most powerful Brazilian squad I have ever watched play.Each one from the attack was ok to be named the world footballer of the year

Roberto Carlos and Adriano were in a similar bad shape as well, even Ronaldinho was below average in 2006 WC. Apart from their defence which was brilliant most of their star players just didn't perform unfortunately. It was like we were watching two different teams in just 1 year gap

Adriano was already a star. Problem was Adriano was dropped to the bench bcoz Ronaldo came back he also refused to leave Intermilan for Chelsea which wanted him Brasil was better off without Juninho. He was not tough for the midfield role. Kleberson n Edmilson is what Brasil needed so they could do the hardwork and allow the attacking players to cook
