Brazilian athletes give up Olympics to help flood victims

Two Brazilian athletes who were training to represent Brazil in rowing at the Olympics in Paris have given up their spots to help flood victims in their country. This comes as many homes were underwater in the worst flooding Brazil has seen in 80 years.

Dengue was basically unknown at Rio Grande do Sul state until a few years ago. All local cases were actually imported. People who had contracted it in Rio de Janeiro or other states to the north. The dengue mosquito would die because the eggs hatched because the weather would be too cold for them around the time of hatching. No more. Btw, the weather was sunny but also temperatures got much colder. Half of the state had frost this morning. It's expected, since it's only 1 month before winter.
