I bawled when Donna was there singing with Sophie in the church. I am so glad they brought Donna in, even as a spirit. Shows that she's watching over her and her grandbaby. They said the 3rd Mamma Mia movie should be coming out June/July of 2022. I hope they make another one. There are some other good ABBA songs they could still use.

The fact that Sophie looks at Donna and reaches out to her in the church makes this moment all the more emotional. I think it''s that moment which really brings the tears to our eyes. Add in the music and it really is a perfect emotional masterpiece.

Can we just appreciate how good the casting of the younger versions of both the guys and girls were🤩 they were absolutely spot on and honestly could not have been casted better. Also these movies are done by the guys from ABBA and both of them actually act in this movie.

I have literally loved Mammia so much since I first saw it when I was 17. It is one of the few movies that I can say that made me completely happy. And that´s why i will never forgive Donna being killed in the sequel, even though I know it was necessary for the plot. It was a lot of pain to see her near the end and singing "My love, My life" with Sophie. I cried days. But even so, from my heart I still love these two movies.

Ugh i cried again. When i watched this movie in the theaters when it first came out and found out Donna passed away, i cried/ balled my eyes out. I tried not to make a sound because there were alot of people😂. But now it still hurts when i watch this movie. I think its beautifully made and i really like how they told the story of young Donna. It all makes sense. The scene where Donna sings in the church to Sophie breaks my heart into a million pieces. And if this movie wasnt good enough already they brought Cher. Its sooooo good! Love it. 10/10⭐

The reason for Donnas death in the second movie is that Meryl Streep does not do any sequel films whatsoever. That being said it makes me bawl and cry my eyes out even more at the end of the movie when Meryl actually showed up as a cameo for the last two songs. I love the Mamma Mia movies with all of my heart and I am just so happy that we got the second movie in 2018!

8:13 Am I the only one who likes Pierce Brosnans singing? like this is the second time I've heard someone diss his singing but for me, it feels normal. I mean, he's an old man, what do you expect? like it's not that bad, I seriously don't get why people hate it. I really like his singing in SOS and When All is Said And Done, as well as Meryl Streeps. Also in that scene, when he was literally looking at Donnas pictures, he was literally grieving. I can't imagine my singing voice to sound awesome when I'm sad

My mother loved the original, to this day she works as a business manager at a special school in East London, I was working as an administration assistant alongside her at the time. One day, because I had the day off, my dad took her to the cinema to meet me there, and I bought the tickets. Mum loved it, Dad and I were both so pleasently suprised, and I cried during the ending.
