YUM ! Breadfruit peel it and slice it in quarters boil it with seeds eat it like potatoes. I'm of Indian heritage so we basically curry everything we make dry or gravy breadfruit curry . Jackfruit eat it ripe as fruit thinly slice the insides when not ripe make curry boil seeds eat Moringo eat the leaves we fry it with coconut shreads indian style ,usually the tree bears a fruit that can be eaten as curried or we accompany it in our lentil soup

Ohhh, the things we took for granted growing in our backyards, on the islands. Mainly all these fruits.

After I hear about a certain (new to me) variety a dozen times it begins to stick. :D I might remember the name and a few crucial characteristics by then...love the info. 3:36 Those 'stringers' hanging down!...jungle effect....or is it vines reaching up??

Wow! The ultra tropicals in the greenhouse grew so much since I visited in 2014! I hope the trees have been okay since Irma and now the recent freezing temperatures!

Again...another great video. I can't wait to check for a video each day. What was she saying about the Paradise tree being more anti cancer than soursop?

+Jennifer Rosenberger - thank you for the love! We really don't know anymore about it than you do at this point. We are going to do some research on the Paradise Tree, though. Pretty interesting, no?

I want this in our backyard. Lol. What is the reason behind not picking from the trees?
@WhatsRipening
@WhatsRipening 7 жыл бұрын
The reason they don't want people picking fruit there is because most people don't know how to do it properly and they get really greedy. A lot of fruit would go to waste and/or be stolen.
