Great Dumpster Dive on this Cold Rainy Morning!

Welcome to Day 7 of posting a new video every day in December!! This morning is cold and wet, but we went out dumpster diving and found a good haul at apartments! The Xbox Kinect is an awesome find along with the leather office chair and large piece of wood that Alex has an idea for! We hope you enjoy coming along with us on this cold, rainy morning. This could be a fun idea.... the two of you going to a thrift store with an allowance of 15-20 dollars each, and you both have to buy an outfit for each other with that allowance. Then you go home and try on /model the outfits. The goal is to find unique pieces the person wouldn't otherwise buy for themselves. You guys are doing a great job. I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos.

Great wood. Put on top of couple of file cabinets. Sort of doily popular in the 70's . good job saving useful things from landfill and saving history.😊

I really enjoy watching you kids on your treasure hunt excursions and seeing some of the treasures you save from the landfill and you seem to always have a lot of fun together too. I grew up with white crocheted doilies in my life. They were made by great aunts and my grandmother. They have several uses. I saw them draped on sofas, sewn into fancy dresses, and placed on a large plate with a cake on top, so the pretty doily ends are seen sticking out from underneath the fancy cake. I have small white doilies that are round with a diameter of 2-3”. I hang those on my Christmas tree every year. Thank you for braving the cold rain and saving some things from the landfill!!! I'm so glad you saved that big board. Wood is so expensive right now! Hi Bones, snuggle up and stay warm!

You can use those red ends for that piece of wood to lay the piece of wood across it and you have a home made desk

I am thinking it may have all came together. To make a long desk .You might want to go back and grab the red pieces. I think those were ends and had no wheels the other pieces held together in back and bottom and then board on top.

The knit thing is a doily. My son and I were doing some Christmas decorating today and I was on a hunt for my doilies. He said, "Doilies is such a funny word." They are what they are. My Christmas doilies were made by my mom over 50 years ago.
