I had really good results by starting with the snowball. Once I paid off a card or two, I got balance transfer offers. Pay attention to the fees! If you have a high interest, high balance debt, you may be able to save money over time with a balance transfer. Great channel, thanks!

One of my habits (to the point of almost being OCD) is checking my balances EVERY morning. I have checking and four savings/sinking funds and I'm looking at not only balances but recent transactions on the checking. I've been doing this for about 10 years now, and it's almost like a security blanket. It may not always be what I'd like to see, but it's consistent with the rate I can save and spend. Dave Ramsey used to say (maybe he still does) that a beginner emergency fund should be $1,000. I'd say more like $2-3,000.

Love it!! I do the same - it’s a way to check for fraudulent activity too. Happy Holidays, Sherry!! 💕

I think it's normal to check your balance every morning and every night especially if you spend a lot. Just like you count cash before you leave the house or when you put your money back in your wallet you count it. Well at least I do. I have this thing where I check 3 times the area I'm at before I leave ESPECIALLY WITH CASH. I hate missing things. Keys wallets, whatever. Before I get up I check my pockets and frisk my self like a madman before I walk out the door so I don't be poor . I don't know how people just get up and go without checking for dropped belongings like mindless zombies.I don't care. CHECK IT! LOL 😂. it's your hard earned money.

I do exactly the same as you. I spent too long being poor. Now I am old so I don’t have mortgage or rent so I also have 3 savings account and one sinking fund. Yes I agree. Emergency fund needs to be at least €2000. A new a rated washing machine costs over €1000 not to mention car repairs or new tyres for the car!

I wish this worked for high medical being the reason for paycheck to paycheck. Type 1 diabetes all my life sucks the life from a person, along with costing more then our rent a month. You learn to not have extras, just work to live. Last 3 years have been horrible for diabetes expenses.

I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.
@MoniqueJ-g2sАй бұрын
Exactly My point! The 9 to 5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?

What would your household budget % be if your house is paid for?
@DebtFreeDana29 күн бұрын
That’s awesome!! Then I’d do something like this… Emergency Fund (5-10%) - Maintain 6-12 months of expenses. Retirement Savings (15-20%) - Max out tax-advantaged accounts (401(k), IRA). Investing (15-25%) - Additional investing in taxable accounts or other assets. Home Maintenance & Improvements (5-10%) - Set aside for upkeep and upgrades. Discretionary Spending (20-40%) - Enjoyable spending (travel, hobbies, entertainment).

Thanks a lot for this. The year is already coming to an end and I know a lot of people are depressed that they did not do well this year but this is Me trying to encourage you that it's not late. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have,making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.

I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect.
