The Doors is what got me into guitar. I wanted to play like Robbie Kreiger so bad I started with classical lessons (since he played fingerstyle). What I didn't know is that he had only been playing electric guitar for six months before joining The Doors. Prior to that he was a Flamenco player. Break On Through was one of the first songs I learned on guitar (50 years ago).

Your advice around minute 9 is excellent. With two guitarists, an organist AND a bass player in my band seemingly always in competition for the fanciest licks, half my work is reining them in.
