I was about three rows from the front waiting for some band later on with my mates. We had sat through some shite bands in the pissing rain. Never heard republic of loose before and they came on and tore the place a new arse. Cheered the whole place up, got everyone dancing and helped us forget that we were soaked to the bones. Fucking hell stumbled across this. Aint listened to the Loose in years, what a live band. Was lucky enough to be at this. Absolutely bonkers.

Jesus, I remember this performance . Think it was 04 . I went to the Perty Loft in Blackrock to see the Loose on the Friday night with a bag of MDMA and it was the best performance ever. Went back to a gaff and rolled over to Oxygen on the Saturday. Still high and more drugs in the body ,I was there for part 2. Unbelievable. What a sound !

Magic you don't get nights like that anymore or few and far between. Oxygen was fucking magic. I was 19 at this, off my tits 😂😂😂 I had the pleasure of meeting Mike on many occasion, fascinating human being an ld a top drawer performer. Long live Mike Pyro!!!!

I have to agree with DiscoStorm. 06 was my first Oxegen (have been back every year since) and some girls I was camping next to recommended them (I had never heard of them before) I have been to loads of festivals but have never been blown away quite as much as I was when I saw these guys. The crowd was just going mental for them. I can't wait to see this years footage as the crowd was even more insane!
