Breakbeat Mix - Vol. 3 - July 2012

Needed to get another Breakbeat set out there and I wanted to do something a little different. So this mix is a little more club-oriented...and a little more dance friendly. I have to say, this is by far the hardest set I've produced, took me 8-10 trys to get it right and then only by the skin of my teeth in a couple transitions. Had a little copyright trouble with the first version of this mix but I think I got it straight.

Have to say, vol 1 and 2 aren't mixed real well but the tracks are awesome. As for the transitions....they were trickier than most of my mixes so it ws really hard to get a clean set. But it's worth the effort, the response has been awesome and I appreciate the props. Stay tuned, I'm dropping vol 4 in a week or so.

It really is hard to find mixes where the track selection is so well..chosen. Add on top of the your primo mixing skills and even more amazing demeanor (online, I mean), you're pretty awesome all around. I think you could go far.....There was that one track you played twice and the second time you let it play out...that was fantastic! Oh man...those first two mixes are not done as well as I'd like but I leave them up here as a marker for how far I've come. I don't get to as many Breaks mixes because my love is DnB...but I won't stray to far before getting back to another breakbeat mix. Have to say I'm surprised at how well these mixes are doing and how much love they're getting...totally unexpected!!! Thanks for the props Director John!!!
