My kids father experienced a similar situation and he’s a sociopath and narcissist. I understand why because he just was never taught how to just be a basic normal human being in society, it’s like he lives his life as an adult based off things he’s seen on tv.. I had to teach him how to actually bathe himself correctly little things you learn growing up he just didn’t have so he always fends for himself first always thinks of himself first and I know it’s not even on purpose so I still help him but we could not be together, he took me through so much just trying to love and care for him 😢

Dontae, if you ever see this I would like you to know something. First, sometimes we are not able to verbalize our thoughts. Other times, there’s no need too, our actions speak for us. You said you regret never telling your sister you loved her. Some thing tells me, she knew (knows). 😇 You showed her every time you turned your hell, into a playground and played with her. Every time you shared the little food you two were given. Every time you let her fall asleep in your arms, given her some type of peace. Every time you put her thoughts and needs before your own. And today, you still show her by sharing you alls story, or by smiling when you say her name. Please keep doing the remarkable work you have done to grow and persevere. You are a true living reflection of the thought “one’s past can’t/don’t define their future”! Great job, and I wish you nothing but the best!🙏🏽🩵

This is the most powerful and realistic content I’ve seen on KZbin especially for the black community and it’s crazy you don’t have millions of subscribers like that underbelly channel because you don’t exploit you respect these people and it’s almost like watching a therapy session with a therapist you all the right questions and show so much compassion but of course KZbin isn’t going to promote you like you should be because you’re not the right skin color and you’re not with the gimmicks and exploiting, you and all your guests are amazingly strong and beautiful people even though they have seen and been through the ugliness life can be. A lot of us have a a story or testimony but I see this and thank god i didn’t have to go through what they did even I had hard and traumatic experiences someone else is always going through more smh

You are right so much could have been going on in this country to be honest they didn't care about us not one bit. This is the underlying problem of the matter .like I can dig it and yet it hard but other races has been locking there kids up like this and using the children for pedophile and all these different things she has to learn this from someone and it is really hard to believe that a person can be that mental disturbed I wish him all the best.

Thank you for this heartbreaking story and thank the Gentleman for sharing his story. I appreciate your strength to stand tall and keep going. The 80s was a cruel time for most of us all the world, our parents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, grandparents went through alot for those white small pebbles and many children suffered in silence around everyone because we was invisible to the small white pebbles. Im glad God kept his hand on you to bring you out and give you courage to share your "our" story, more of us need to come out the shadows of shame and let the world know what we been through to set ourselves free and stop the lies "its only you going through and no one cares for me" syndrome to heal ourselves, we as blk ppl was always told "what go on in this house stay in this house" . This cycle needs to be broken it has destroyed sp many of us and we allow the cycle to continue becuse we are conditioned to keep everything private. Thank you again for this truth looking forward to the follow-up and the next earth moving story❤

Home was never a safe place for him growing up. Maybe when he was older subconsciously he didnt go home because of that fact. My son is going on 8 months and before having him I couldn't imagine anyone hurting a child like that. Since having him it's hard to even hear and see stories like this, when I do I could just rage out. A baby, a child, his laughter, the most precious thing I've ever experienced as a mother and as a person.. I could never imagine what goes on in someone's head to treat a child like that let alone their own. But something that sticks out to me is how clearly mentally unfit she was, she didn't even have the sense to properly dispose of the body. Any logical person would know theyre gonna get caught as soon as that smell comes creeping and it tells me shes either just so high she wasnt thinking or she wasn't born with the mental capacity to think that critically. Maybe both. Maybe just so emotionally and mentally checked out either as a symptom of her own drug use or due to a personality disorder. Also how she managed to get emotional during the trial but you know she was sad for herself and nothing else.
