The reason the Johnny Depp case is so big and important is because Amber ruined his career years ago by saying that he abused her. The case isn’t a DV case, it’s a defamation case

You see how the tone changed when they compared Johnny Depp and Megan??? Literally them 2 on the couch praising Johnny victim story but when Meg (a woman) is talked abt being a victim it’s “i wasn’t there” you wasn’t there for the whole Johnny depp thing ??? when talking abt a victim who’s a woman the mood of the convo changes . Don’t get me wrong both victim stories are horrid. But we as people needa stop tryna downplay somebody story just bc it sounds superficial….

Just about everyday most men are making it pretty clear that they don’t like women. They like women anatomy but they don’t like women as people so it’s hard to empathize with people you don’t even like. That’s why women are shamed and disrespectful daily.

On the Megan situation, I think she lied about not sleeping with him but I whole heartedly believe he shot her. Kelsey and him both had the same part of that story in their own stories that they all had been in a entanglement. Either Meg and him were messing around and Kelsey was the side piece or vice versa. I just think, how can you be so excited for Johnnys situation and him getting justice yet not realize there’s way more incidents like Megs than anything else.

Its really not. We just gotta learn to stop protecting idiots from stupid sht they do. If she wouldve said from the beginning, Tory shot me, we all would believe her and that would be that. But because she was tap dancing around it trying to protect him then let the internet bully her into saying who it was, she messed up her own narrative. If u gon be dumb and hold it down, hold it all the way down. If u gon worry abt what the peanut gallery says then as soon as they were out of harms way she shouldve come to the peanut gallery on her live, cried and said who shot her. Now its too much mess in the pot, but it all boils down to holding niggas accountable for their bs and stop tryna protect them when they do stupid shit not even thinking to protect themselves or the women that were with them. Meg’s young tho, hopefully she learned her lesson.

I don’t see any of y’all with a platform speaking about your opinion and still showing up through all the slander each week as yourself. Mona is allowed by her right as an American to speak her opinion just like you are hence the term OPINION. If it’s an issue for you no one is forcing you to click on her podcast each week. Absolutely no one is upsetting you but yourself. For you to come here each week is self harm and you need to do some self reflection and figure out why you purposely inflict pain upon yourself. Control your emotions or they WILL control you. Love the podcast thank y’all for showing up each week y’all have got me through SO much and encouraged me to continue to show up as myself regardless of how people respond.

Suicide is at an all time high. Parents put that on social and then get mad when their kid gets bullied at school over what was posted. Smh.

You’re experiencing the repercussions of colorism. No one is saying it’s not a struggle being light skin but the struggle comes from the colorism dark skin people experience … it may cause dark skin people to bully or act out against you which is a hardship inflicted on to you but not colorism.

Glue on the lips when it comes to black women being harmed. Why?? Ya’ll silence is very telling. Mona… stay far away from dudes that are too scared to stand up for black women. They’ll ride your coattails but will allow you to be abused.
