As a child, my father molested me for many years and the neighbor molested me once. Both were males. As a child and teen, I exposed others around my age to sexual activity just like I had been exposed. I simply could not be alone around someone my age without being sexual with them. Now, as an adult, I have self control and am careful about how I move and treat people, especially children. But I feel terrible about what I did. I’ve repented but I always thought about how my actions affected those girls and that boy and my cousin. Even though we were around the same age, many of them were innocent and what I did may have been the first experience they had. I’m sorry that he went through this and I hope more women can be exposed and charged for abusing their children.

I went through something similar by a neighbor . I had to forgive myself and ask God forgiveness that's all you can do. I work with children and have children of my own and I wouldn't think twice to do anything to them EVER. We can't help the things we did as a child and I had to accept that because I really beat myself down for a long time so I know 🫶🏿

I agree with the person who spoke before me. When you have time and energy, remember how you felt. Sit in that pain. Cry, write, run, beat drums, paint, draw, sing, scream… allow yourself to go back to being small and unsafe. As you keep going back there, over time… you will feel yourself grow lighter and lighter. Eventually, you may feel empathy for the child you were and for your siblings. That will soon manifest into this deep, overwhelming love for yourself because you will become reacquainted with the child within yourself. You will realize that you always deserved so much more… you still do. One day, you will likely find that this love you have for yourself is so strong and so great that it is too heavy to carry along with hate for anyone-even your parents. Every day after that, you will fill your days with beautiful, loving experiences that you always deserved but were not given by the people who were designated to give them to you when you were small and vulnerable. At least, that’s how it was for me. All Love.

I had troubles with the Oldest daughter for quite a few years, but I kept to my morals and I loved her unconditionally 💞💯. I made sure she ALWAYS knew that, but there was certain behaviors I wouldn't tolerate. Their dad, hasn't physically seen them in 17 yrs. He calls them once in a while, sends them guilt money when they beg. I dated 2 fellows after the divorce and remained single, thereafter. Oldest daughter is almost 40 & I have a 21 yr old grandson with her. Both my daughters have AMAZING careers and are hard workers, whom any employer would be grateful to hire. My husband was a REALLY GOOD spouse, and father, untill he got introduced to crack, 17 yrs into our marriage. It truly was a sad ending. So as a single mother and person.... You have a responsibility to our children FIRST!!

Him saying his mother would call him dirty & bathe, that hit home for me! Though my mother didn’t raise me, my grama did, but when I did stay with my mom some weekends, she would tell me the same. I’m a grown woman & till this day that bothers me, amongst other things she would tell me as a child. She has never apologized & never taken accountability & thinks I should be over it….every now & then I get angry but let it go, but it still hurts…I wish I could hug him! Yeah my mother makes me feel the same way. Every time I try to talk to her about my childhood she’s just so detached n removed from walking away from all four of her small children(I was 10, my sister was 8, my other sister was 5, and brother 8 months to a year old) and leave us with our father. She has no remorse. She was smoking crack over us n I was raising her children since age 7. I’m 45 years old today and she still has no remorse or apologies for me or my siblings. I stay away from her as much as possible but that inner child still craves her mother. I wholeheartedly feel his pain. It’s fucked up when your own mother doesn’t want you! How the hell do you ever think that anyone else will want you. Yes I was raised by a single father but even that was traumatizing. Not cuz of my dad, but his family hated us. Cuz they never liked our mother. It was hell!

Those mother-father wounds are deep. I went through the same. No father and neglected by my mother I searched for love in all the wrong places. It put me in some really unsafe situations and by the grace of GOD I'm here, no stds or untreatable diseases and still healing every day. Sadly I'm a single mother of 4 under some shitty circumstances but everyday I live to provide for my babies what I didn't. I got into a passionate argument with my son's grandfather because he said I hug and hold my son too much. Now, gma made sure to instill them values in me of respecting my elders so I kept my thoughts to myself. But to his son, I'm always so quick to say to him I wish your parents would of hugged you a little more. I WANT my sons to know their mother love them. I DESIRE to be able to love my sons enough so that they don't have to look for mommy's love nowhere else. Chasing that absent parents love is never ending. Especially if you never fully experienced it before, it have you missing something you never had. And how does that work, right.

I’m only 10 minutes into this interview and I am heartbroken for this young man. “A motherless child 🥷🏾” those words he just spit - I felt that. I raised a black son into a black man and did the best I could! Sad to hear a boy talk about his childhood trauma being his mother because I could never do that to my son! We are supposed to protect our boys(kids)! I wouldn’t even date while raising my son! And even if I did bring a guy around I would never tell my son to call them Dad like wtf! My personal life was separated from my motherhood life,,, And I Thank God that I was mature enough to know that at a young age! However, I went through tough times too as a child and knew not to do some things when I became a mom. How could you as a parent hurt your own child! 💔🥹 I was a teen mom! And still knew not to harm my child despite what I’ve been through as a child! Damn this is hard to watch… smh

I was so intrigued by this one-I was hanging on his every word! His ability to articulate every emotion and his past was unbelievable. Hearing about her ripping up that report card (among other things) almost broke my heart. How he broke down the fact that he looked like his dad and how that influenced his mother’s feelings about him-truest thing I have ever heard! The universe protects the vulnerable and look at him now.
