How do you know what kind of grid to make? How did you know to do only two circles? Are their other styles of grids
@rosemarybartolini63813 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the lesson - Awesome strategy! I have one issue though, I can't seem to work out when creating the grid. I thought my custom preferences were the culprit, but I reset them all to default and the problem still remains! Your vertical lines are perfectly centered in the circles horizontally and vertically AND you have a border all the way around. But MY grid always comes out a half of a box off. So I have to choose between centered in the circles OR have a border all the way around. I can't have both. What on earth am I doing wrong?

I'm wondering why my grid looks different from yours. I also have Illustrator 2020 and I have my document set to 1000 px by 1000 px. When I go to View and click Show Grid, I get a grid, bur the squares are bigger than the ones on your document. You have about 28 larger squares across the top of your document, each larger square has 16 little squares within it. I have 14 larger squares across the top of my document, and each of my larger squares has 64 smaller squares within it. Is there a way to adjust the grid settings?
