What I like about budgeting after trial and error, is that it has shown me how Ive over spent, what I could have saved if I write everything down then ask myself is it a need or a want. This has afforded me the opportunity to reach some of my goals and will allow me to allocate funds in other areas. I have at least five binders. Envelopes change once goals have been reached. Im so grateful for this community as well. Keep sharing ideas and ways to help us future our goals, one step at a time. It’s a marathon not a race! Blessings to the budgeting community!

I’m new to budgeting but what I have loved is having the money for emergency things that pop up…I never had the money for this and would stress out trying to figure out how we were to come up with the money…it is helping me with the stress.

I love the way you explain each of your binders. What I love about budgeting so far since I started in the beginning of July 2022 is that I learn how to prioritize what I need verses my wants and also able to save by assigning all of my funds into categories such as sinking funds etc. Thank you

Hey Natasha!! Love the breakdown for your binders!! I use to have to do my daughters hair and she is all natural also and that’s work!! She now has locs and we go in to get it done… saves time.. so I totally understand!! What I love about budgeting is that it has help me to pay off this debt… I m not done yet… but it’s helped me to really get over $40k paid in the last 3 1/2 years!!

Hi!!! I’ve thought about locs but I’m waiting until she’s old enough to have an input on how she wants her to look.

New subbie! ❤ that glasses envelope would’ve come in handy for me a few years ago. I used glasses from 6th grade til I was 27years old! I paid $500 every time I got new glasses cuz I got additional features to it. I think I bought 5 total over that time. But then! In 2020, I finally built the courage to do lasik and girrrrrllllll…. It was LIFE CHANGING!!! See if you’d be eligible to do it! And save up for it! When I had glasses, my kids would take it and hide it. I wouldn’t be able to go to work sometimes cuz I wouldn’t be able to drive without it 🤣

Love your share....thank you. I just started my natural hair journey after relaxing for most of my life. What I love about budgeting or cash stuffing is allowing yourself grace because it is q process and you won't get it the first time but when you are able to pay for something because over time you saved for it, a little at a time and don't feel the pinch of trying to find the money to pay had you not done the cash envelopes. Sorry for the lon explanation.......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 keep sharing and I'll keep watching....loved the video💕💛💕💛💕💛

I love the binders and I use the penny challenge to add to my daughter's savings account and any change leftover from cash purchases is used for her cash on hand. I used to save $1's and $5's with her initials on them when she was younger and will start that back in the near future. It is a great way to save and it adds up quickly.

Thank you! It amazes me that penny challenge can add up to almost $700!

I love knowing where my money is going. Giving it direction makes me feel like I have some control. I hated feeling broke right after pay day. I also like that I can plan to get whatever I want

I’ve always been a numbers kind of person. Love managing money so why not manage my own money well. Doing this has for the most part kept me debt free except for the few occasions there are must haves.

Hi Natasha! This was great, love seeing what/why people use their envelopes for different things! Hey! HEY YOU! lol What don't I love about budgeting? This is something that should be taught in schools like a requirement! I think we'd all be in a much better place from the start if they taught us this. But what I love about budgeting is that it keeps me accountable and it shows me what I'm spending and what I shouldn't be spending on. And that's when the envelopes come in. So I do my regular budget and then spread the extra stuff into envelopes, so that I'm always set for when something comes up. And of course with a lil' bit for myself. That's what I love the most! It makes me NOT spend the money like I used to! Hope you're doing well! 🖤🤍❤

Hi Veronica!!!! Thank you for watching!! I definitely agree that it should be taught in schools. I wish I knew about this tens years ago but better leave than never. We’re doing well. Still getting into a routine with 2 kiddos at home.

Hey! Thank you! So I paid $187 but if I add the additional $48 they didn’t cover I’m paying about $235 which is still much cheaper than what I used to pay. I’m adjusting my budget so that I have the full amount plus some
