Is more dark, killings, blood, magic, lots of sex and skin... -Jennifer Salke: Yeah, I read it... It is misogynistic and women in chains sends a wrong thinking... Wahmen are not sex objects! You are fired, Ryan! And will put a billion dollars into one basket, Rings of Power! Then, comes that dialogue of yours. And after that we find out that Ryan Condal got home upset because of this Conan non-sense and when he was at home he received a phone call: -Hello, Ryan? -Yes! Who is it? -Hello, I'm an executive at HBO, we heard you were fired by Amazon after a script of more adult Conan the Barbarian universe... Somehow we read it and somebody like it. We want to hire you to write a series for him called House of the Dragon, a Game of Thrones prequel... And the rest is history!

1:23 “He Vadered!” I guess they’re saving on CGI cost by filming so much in the dark. I don’t even know how you could discern what is going on in 90% of those dark shots. All of the horror is the fault of Guyladriel. Proving her true villain status, she knew exactly who Sauron was and deliberately withheld this information from her “elf” kin and Numenorean allies. Thank you for the video! I thought I was looking forward to watching season two get roasted, but now I just feel annoyed and wish it were cancelled. I can’t believe you didn’t like the design of the rings just because they look exactly like what you get at the dollar store made out of plastic and when the “gem“ is a candy. 🙏🧡🤪🤣

It's a shame too, because I was eagerly and naively looking forward to this show for five years, and defended it in the months leading up to s1's release. The one good thing about season 2 of this show is that we get to have more content from Council of the Rings breaking them down 😄 I was just as frustrated with the Eagle scene and Ar-Pharazon. It is particularly sad knowing that Amazon obviously *can* make good adaptations based on success of Fallout (and they obviously didn’t push away key people like Todd Howard) so it’s sad Tolkien can’t get good treatment. I am also partially worried about other new content that may be coming out (even though sounds like Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis are involved). I hope you’ll make some videos about your thoughts on these upcoming movies as well, even though our knowledge on the details is currently limited.

I don't know how they intend to continue the series when everyone died in the end of the first season. I mean.. there was the volcanic explosion, and the sea drowned everyone because it's always right. I did hear that there were more episodes past that one but I can't imagine what it could have been about I'm assuming that it set up some kind of event where Galadriel was sent back into the past to stop everyone from dying in the volcanic explosion, back to a time when Sauron had long hair and was clean shaven, apparently. Maybe Galadriel will get over her constipation by the time she reaches the first season again, though i rather doubt it..

Not that Amazon cares about continuity or world building, but that underwater woman may not be a sacrifice, since sacrifices to Morgoth were made in a dome-shaped temple. It may be the Maia Uinen, who was revered by the Númenoreans. They even had a sculpture of Uinen at a crappy rear angle in the previous season. On second thought, it may be race-swapped Miriél having one of her visions of Númenor sinking into the waves. Whatever. I’m putting more thought into this sh*t pile than it deserves. Now I’m trying not to throw up in my mouth at the announcement of “The Hunt for Gollum.”

The Huons, while sort of evil, most likely would never side with Sauron. Not only would we have heard something suggesting this (at a minimum) from either Tolkien himself or within his works, but they are altogether opposed to the Orcs in canon, as the Orcs are industrious and do not reapect wild-life; hence, why they helped the Ents destroy Isenguard and kill the Orcs and Uruks in Rohan.

You're here to break it down or tell us how you don't like the actors, Galadriel shooting two arrows on fire, etc etc? Your comment starting around minute 7:00 on Sauron is dull and boring. Maybe you should remind yourself that Sauron assisted in the making of the nine rings for mortal men and the seven for the dwarf lords, disguised as the Elf Annatar. On the other side Celeborn, Galadriels husband, never returned from the war of the jewels and he's presumed dead! Ugh (you bore me with this by the way) I shall fill you in... Well ladies and gentlemen after watching the Rings of Power trailer I'd say it's safe to assume that Annatar is trying to resemble Celeborn. It is only when Galadriel is informed, probably after she returns to Eregion at some point on the show from a journey, that she is told of her husbands return but only to find out that it's Sauron. At that points she calls him out, it is precisely after that, that the trailer shows Annatar flipping his hands and the lands change, meaning that he reveals his true form and showing how deep he has wormed his way through their minds. Deceiver he is... hsss Council of the Rings, friend!

Amazon has good shows, such as Fallout and Invincible, but I cannot believe they greenlighted Rings of Power. It is so simple to make Celebrimbor the main protagonist and Sauron the main antagonist but they had to condense the Second Age for no other reason. This is so embarrassing that HBO Max is mocking Amazon with House of the Dragon, a better story and live adaption of a prequel storyline. Also, what are your thoughts on Peter Jackson's Hunt for Gollum film?
