Good Lord, in which spooky corner of New Market did you run around?? There are really nicer Places than the Meat Shops😵😵😵i hate to go to that side of the Market... How was the Egg Toast and the Googny(Peas Curry)?

The Traveling Monk/ey Yes, i normally don't visit New Market at all, special in Summers it is dreadful.... These Breakfast Staples are awesome, i special love the Street Food In India.Kolkata is a very special City, with so much to see, i never get tired of it. I hope you did not have too much stomach Troubles because of our Food, it can backfire really fast😂😂😂.Myself i am from Germany, married to a Bengali and living since 8 years constant in Kolkata. But on the opposite End of the City, we need around 1 Hour to reach the New Market Area. So, how did you like the City, first Time in India or frequent Traveler?

Well, I've had some stomach problems in Varanasi but I am pretty sure it was due to a lassi drink. I've been to India 6 times so far and it was my 2nd times in Calcutta. Never had major stomach problems before. Yes, I like Kolkata though it may seem grim to a first times traveler to India. I enjoy the variety of foods. It seems is a much more cultural city than some other places I've visited in India. My aim is to visit the 7 sisters :) one day. Hopefully on my next journey to India.
