During the 19th century the area was home to the Dum Dum Arsenal, a British Royal Artillery facility. It was here that, in the early 1890s, Captain Neville Bertie-Clay developed a bullet with the jacket cut away at the tip to reveal its soft lead core (see hollow-point bullet), known informally as a dum-dum[4][5][6][7][8][9] or more correctly as an expanding bullet. The previous name of Dum Dum was "Domdoma". Some resources claim that the Persian word damdama, which means "mound" or "elevated battery," is the source of the word Dum Dum.------------from wikipedia

Your racist mindset is clear. Delhi is absolutely not the representation of India. Many western youtube travel vloggers have warned regarding this misconception. You will cherry pick the worst places in India whereas in China you will randomly visit the places. I mean India has so many beautiful, decent places. You ignored South Indian cities, cities in Northwestern India and entire Northeast India. You pinpointed Delhi and that also you visited Old Delhi because your racist mindset loves to see India as dirty and backward. Shame on you. Your behaviour is contrasting to Israelis who visit the northwestern Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh in India to relax. India is it has many shortcomings but overall the country is just amazing with such an insane diversity in its geography. The regions of India vary to such an extent with Snow capped ethereal mountains aka the himalayas in the North, vast desert in Northwest, amazing plateaus in the Central region, beautiful sea coasts and tropical backwaters in the far south and mangrove forests in the east. Apart from the geography, India has such a wide variety of wildlife species many of them endangered like Royal Bengal Tigers, Rhinos, Red Panda, Snow Leopard, etc. The country has literally hundreds of different ethnic groups with languages, cultures widely different from each other for example a person of Kashmir looks completely different to a person from Kerala and both of them are again different from a Northeast Indian.Northwest India ( Kashmir- Gulmarg, Pehelgam, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh- Manali, Shimla, Dharamsala, Rishikesh) Northeast India ( Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland) Kerala, Goa, Hampi, Ellora, Madurai, Oooty, Munnar, Doodhsagar. I gurantee you guys Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh as beautiful as China. Kashmir is as wonderful as Eastern Europe with its mountains. Ladakh will seem as some other wordly place. Look I am just recommending this places to you because these are the true gems which are unexplored by many tourists. They fail to get their true rewards of visting India and gets the worst aka the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Varanasi and Agra which is literally shit. The true diversity and beauty of India lies in its remote regions.Northwest India ( Kashmir- Gulmarg, Pehelgam, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh- Manali, Shimla, Dharamsala, Rishikesh) Northeast India ( Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland) Kerala, Goa, Hampi, Ellora, Madurai, Oooty, Munnar, Doodhsagar. I think you should watch Sabbatical's other videos and shorts on India before making such biased comments generalizing the whole country. Moreover speaking of China what you saw I what the government showed you. Try visiting those huge buildings and see how the citizens live inside. Watch the documentaries of their living standards in the youtube videos by South China Morning Post, DW News and Vice Asia. Their coffin apartments and prison homes. There is a proverb: All the glisters aren't gold. Chinese people are below Indian people in hospitality in rural areas. Try visiting a rural place in India and see their hospitality towards guests. They invite foreigners to their home for lunch or dinner something rare in China. Also videos by youtube channels like Serpentza, Iaowhy 86, China Observer, China Insights, China Insider with David Zhang, Adv China show the horrible reality of China. If China is so great why do Chinese form the greatest cohort of illegal immigrants trying to sneak into America through southern border? I am not a racist but a realist. You are a racist instead. I don't like a country which condones terrorism and genocide of the world's most ancient civilization which is at war with Islamists currently.

I order Ayurveda (various arishta fermented concoctions) from India and the price is adjusted to the North American market which means that they make so much profit that not only they offer free DHL delivery, but if the package gets intercepted by the (Canadian) customs and there are extra fees asked by DHL, they reimburse those fees. Usually the packages just go by without hassle. It certainly could be nice to pay in rupees and assume the DHL charges, but as soon as the address is entered the prices change in dollars.
