When I was growing up and all my kids were growing up stockings weren't complete unless they each had an apple, orange and mixed nuts in the shells. To this day I still think about those things as the constant in stocking stuffers. There were also all the little needs and wants that were too small to put under the tree. 🎅🎄⛄

The stockings were always my favorite part of Christmas. Even after my sisters and brothers were grown and had our own children my parents still made us a stocking. One for everyone. It stopped when we lost my dad, but I was almost 40 years old and so very grateful for the memories of such Christmases. I see prancer was hanging out in the christmas tree tonight. That is exactly how we did Christmas when I was growing up. Opened presents Christmas Eve and stockings on Christmas morning. I looked forward to the stockings more than the presents, Lol I still do. I told my kids and grandkids that I wanted a stocking for Christmas, full of goodies, lol.

I saw Prancer hiding in the Christmas treeeeee!! Lol I always include a Christmas card in my kids stockings.. just with a simple note from Mom telling them out of all the Christmas presents in the world they have by far been the best gift a mom can ask for.

I have a sock box too, but for extra "snowballs" could always use the socks, balled up, that will never show up, you know the ones that have been in there forever and a day ☺ When Manley said "That stinks" i just lost it. Bless his heart.....

My kids are grown and I their gifts are what’s in the stockings. Always a candy cane, some sort of chocolate and usually some cheap earbuds, an extra charger and cord, and if I can do anything more I try to personalize it to something I know they need but put on the back burner of buying for themselves. I am gearing up for cataract surgeries for New Year but I LOVE searching for Prancer! I haven’t found him as often this year lol but I look forward to it each year. I think it’s sweet that the kids are helping hide him. So sweet. (I didn’t comment on it the other night with the contest, but wanted to let you know how sweet I think it is.)

First, the kiddos are going to love their stockings. Second, for a 60 year old woman my eyes lit up a little to much when I saw The Grinch and with Hershey Kisses...lol The Grinch is my fav cartoon. Mannie is soo smart. We are empty nesters now and our kids live out of state so stockings aren't much fun now unless it is a year they get to come home. My family’s Christmas tradition has always been that you open gifts from the family on Christmas Eve and then Santa 🎅🏻 comes and we have his stuff & stockings on Christmas morning!

I have 3 boys and 1 girl. They are all ages 17-25 now. Stockings as teens has been sooo difficult. I've done playing cards, food, candy, books, toothbrush, toothpaste (it's a family tradition!), fingernail clippers, flashlights, pocket knives, multi-use tools, over the years. Some of them they got each year... The older they got, the more difficult...It's similar with gifts now. My 17 yo daughter is still the "easiest" to shop for as she loves everything. The boys are more "streamlined" in their interests...

You do stockings the same way we do. All gifts are opened Christmas Eve and stockings are Christmas Day. My girls are all grown and married with children and I still do stockings for them. Christmas morning they all come over to get their stockings. My favorite part of Christmas.

My nephew had those puzzles u got for Manley, his were construction, and cars, trucks, trains, and school bus. He got so much use and playtime. My sister and family moved so we gave it to the church preschool
