Ah Kevin, the days when small boats crossing the channel were hailed as life savers 🤔🤔What a beautiful tribute, to the crews of the little boats. That's a proper old-fashioned breakfast. Right down to the cosy covered tea pot. Is it the prettiest meal I've ever seen 🤔,No,but it's the closest I've ever been to my mums fabulous fry ups ❤😊May the couple who undertook this task be given the thanks they deserve. Honestly, I would eat there as often as possible, if I lived locally. The only word that covers this living history is Homely,right down to the dog😊😊😊You didn't mention the cost, whatever it was,I'd pay double for the privilege of being there. I see what you mean about the small boats and yes they were heroes , I’m pleased you liked the video and all the details also bringing back memories of your mums fry ups , I only came across this national treasure by accident whilst looking at a bar nearby to do a vlog and this got me thinking that I am going to contact the local radio station and newspapers and try to get Pauline & Graham some more customers to enable them to take Mv watchful back to Dunkirk for one last time . I forgot to mention the price for the breakfast it was 9.50p and used quality product and there was a lot and I did struggle to finish , I think they do a smaller version too or scones with jam & cream and a cuppa all very nice Thanks for watching and see you in the next one .

I obviously don't know. But if not, they should set one up very soon. I'd be near the top of the list of subscriptions. @@Ghosts-of-York Hi thanks for watching and pleased to share my video as I love the history too , if you go down be careful with parking as when I went the pay and display were not working and had to pay through my phone although you can park free on the left hand side on the main road , let the crew know that you saw my video the volunteers are super friendly and nice people.

Outstanding full breakfast; great service; teapot with a tea cosy; proper bone china tea cup & saucer......what's not to like lol! Love also the boat with all it's history at Dunkirk and in fact Kevin you're getting rather a penchant for boats with your fish & chips on one in Whitby! P.S. just over three years service in the Navy back in the 1980's made me feel right at home. P.P.S. You're not an ex Matelot too are you? ⚓️ 😊

Many thanks for your comments Roger and for watching and yes a nice piece of our history that not a lot of people know about and pleased I came across this whilst checking out a venue opposite the watchful, No I’m not a Matelot but sort of came close when planning to go in the merch in the early 70s ( does that count ) 😂 I wonder if I can find a third vessel ?

@@Nickpaintbrush Thank you Nick I forgot to mention it costs 9.50p which I didn’t mind paying as all money goes to the upkeep of the boat , if you ever go through be aware that when I went I had to pay parking fee on my phone as the machines were not working but you can park for free on the road leading to the marina as you will see a line of cars parked there ,
