‘Bessie Ellen’ reminds me of the 36ft gaff ketch which I restored and sailed all too briefly before I ran out of ‘resources’ and she had to go to a new skipper. I miss her dearly, but I am now too old to try again.

There's another channel claiming that Bessie Ellen is for sale. Is that for real, or is it some sort of scam?

Yeah, she is currently for sale. Bessie Ellen has had the same owner for the past 24 years, and she put her up for sale a while ago. It can take years to sell a boat like this though.

Or was it a misheard instruction to put up the four sails - is she four sails - yes at the moment.Brightlingsea is just down the road from where i reside btw and i have a for sale notice for sale but if i put a for sale notice above it will people know which one is actually for sale meaning i could sell either both or neither.Nice to have them thar Hoggs back on the scene after Georgia adventures from way back when.Great videos as usual.
