Dude Paris was literally sacked by German Nazi forces during WWII, talk about most powerful army lol
@moemano62885 жыл бұрын
No they didn't win the war with swords and sticks. Actually we didn't win the war and freedom at all. France wanted the war to happen instead of integrating and giving the indigenous people same right in Algeria to first frighten the European settlers and push them to flee Algeria so they can execute their long term plan of keeping Algeria a dependant backward state to exploit the natural resources. France learned the British lesson in North America when the settlers after many generation distanced them selves of the British and didn't want to stay as a British colony. Now the USA is a super power because of the European settlers who built an independent country. The French knew that by forcing the European settlers to go back to Europe Algeria will not stand a chance of becoming truly independent because of the lack of skills and political experience amongst the indigenous people. They handed over the power to corrupt individuals who take orders from France. We were never independent and still not independent.
@abdelazizboudabia50445 жыл бұрын
@@moemano6288 I can't put up with so many things you mentioned in your US/Britain analogy. It seems like you're just rephrasing the white man's burden as you clearly stated that indigenous populations are BACKWARDS and civilization is somewhat exclusive to Europeans. Despite the downgrading attitude toward indigenous populations, your US/Britain analogy is tremendously flawed because North America has been ethnically cleansed shortly after the exploratory expeditions so there was no indigenous population to talk about to begin with. Also, why would you think that a settler-controlled colony could even possibly emerge as a foe for its creator empire? I mean, clearly your said analogy and plenty of other evidence are in contrast with that.
@moemano62885 жыл бұрын
@@abdelazizboudabia5044 what do you know about Algeria's history and who said it would emerge as a foe? It can gain independence gradually through democracy for example. I didn't downgrade or mock my people, i simply stated the facts that the majority of Algerians in 1962 were illiterate. If France had given same rights to Algerians integration would take effect and the Algerians would avoid being forced to go fight in a desperate bloody war that was not in the interests of both the European settlers and the indigenous people.
