one of the most talented, versatile and highly unrecognized artists of this century....can sing pop, soul, jazz and standards and nail all of them effortlessly...oh, and he writes his songs (and hits for other artists) and plays all the instruments....

WOW! That last number was pure class. I'm really glad I listened to more from Bobby. I was not aware how versatile. What talent!

Not only a great singer but very funny. I'm a 69 year black woman. "What You Won't Do For Love" hav been a favorite song of mine for years. I just found out that Bobby Cauldwell was Caucasian this year, it's 2021! I really like him. Such a versatile voice. Sounds black while singing "What You Won't Do For Love", and sounds like Frank Sinatra while singing Frank's hits. Wow! Bobby Cauldwel, is an underrated as a singer.

I'm watching this on the day after his death. His talent is rich and was connected to so many

Bobby was one of the few artists in the 70s who spoke about the music business and how important it is for an Artist to not get taken advantage of. Sadly I think that hindered his career but his talent still resonated with millions around the world.

This is a great video. You really get to see his versatility and his sense of humor. I believe my husband was at the concert he talks about with Natalie Cole, and that is how he described the reaction when Bobby came on stage, a hush came over the crowd. Probably was at one of the best concert venues we had, The Front Row Theatre. Rest in Heaven, to my favorite blue eyed soul brother singer. You will be missed, and thank God we have videos, your music will live forever. So glad we got to see you in 2018 with Norman Brown in Detroit. One of the best musicians, songwriters, ever.

I am old enough to have heard Frank Sinatra sing for many years. There are so many Frank knock-off's, but when you listen to Bobby just sing in his OWN voice Frank's music, he sounds JUST LIKE FRANK!!! When I listen to Bobby sing these American Songbook songs through my headsets, I have to remind myself that it is Bobby's voice!! Mind blowing!! Personally, I like the way Bobby sings Frank's music better than Frank sang them!!

I LOVE this! Thank you for posting this on KZbin. I love that Bobby "belted" out the first song once introduced. The audience is small, (since the show is filmed in a television studio, which are large as a warehouse, but the seating capacity is about an eighth of an audience you might find at a Cher, or a The Bee Gees concert.) In a small venue, a performers usually subdues their vocals, but Bobby just BELTIED out the song. I LOVED IT!

Thanks for sharing this. Just watched in July 2014 and it's a gem. I've been a fan since the early '80's when I was 16 and he's still got it! WOW! This was a great interview, too. Loved his stories and songs. I hope to make one of his cruise tours one day! Gonna put him on the "wish list" for the new Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center. Hard to believe he started as a hard rocker . . . class act!

Bobby is great here and Gary is a fantastic interviewer with great timing. Kelly comes off here like a wet rag. She's more or less in the way for some reason and not very much fun. Likely, Gary and Kelly should have coordinated beforehand so they could divvy up the questions. She'd have had more to do that way.
