Taharqa Mansa Nate Parker was actually convicted of rape. He appealed and was granted a retrial but the woman didn’t show up for the second trial, so he was let free. The other man who was convicted for rape wasn’t granted the same retrial and stayed in jail, and he corroborated that he and Nate both slept with the girl when she was passed out. The woman committed suicide shortly after missing the retrial. It’s super weird to me that black men and women are mad about Nate Parker when practically none of y’all went to see his movie in theaters.

One of the things that Terri said during his interview was that he was treated very well and that AGT has the most diverse staff/employees he has ever seen in his professional career... As if to say, that because he didn’t experience what Gabrielle reported was a lie. There are people that could have said that they had never experienced what his alleged happened with his abuser, that doesn’t mean what he said was false. Even if he didn’t believe Gabrielle or want to take a stand with her he could have just said no comment. Gabrielle said that she and AGT agreed not to publicly speak about the issues she raised until they completed their investigation, so for him to make a comment was highly inappropriate.
@OumTHMDY4 жыл бұрын
He was actually talking about the candidates on the show being divers and not the staff/employees, which made his commentary even more dense. Gerryo both were clowning him (black women and men). I read comments from plenty of black women which said things like “if a big man like that let another man touch him that way then xyz.” Black women usually do NOT tolerate weak or suspect men, unless those men have come out as being gay. Terry said that black women were supporting him and black men were clowning him because he was virtue signaling. It’s normal to throw black men under the bus. He would never call out black women as a whole (or women as a whole). That’s a no no. This is why he says things like “I believe you should always believe women.” What? That’s a clear virtue signal and it’s dangerous

As a black woman im not even going to beg and plead for a black man to care. I’ll just find someone else 🤷🏾♀️ they’ll learn soon enough the hard way that the world is watching & been watching how many of them treat women in general... not faithful, impregnating anyone, & refuse to marry smh and a lot of these women of other races are beginning to catch on 😏😏😏
@Christian808064 жыл бұрын
Great Lakes well you could say that but it wouldn’t bother me because it doesn’t apply to me 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ not to mention your statement would only reinforce the very statement you’re trying to refute that black men are thugs and just impregnate people and never marry so... it also seems you’re using blanket statements such as “ALL WOMEN” when that’s not true and appear to be taking offense when I simply said “MANY BLACK MEN” not “ALL BLACK MEN” there’s a difference....
@Christian808064 жыл бұрын
Great Lakes that’s fine lol just goes to show neither do black men apparently since these women are having black children so there you go 🤷🏾♀️ just proved my point lol so why were you commenting again????
@Christian808064 жыл бұрын
Great Lakes No sir lol you’re deflecting and you proving my point. Much like white people deflect issues brought to their attention by black people. The fact is standards START with men as LEADERS, not with women. And there lies part of the problem. Many black men lacking the manhood it takes to lead by exhibiting morality and expecting women to lead them, waiting on and following behind women. And then complaining that black women don’t know their place. Please step up or sit down and be quiet.
@Christian808064 жыл бұрын
Great Lakes I said nothing of the sort. I said it STARTS with men not that it is ONLY men’s responsibility. Again you read what you wanted. Thinking I said only black men, all black men. And then you tried to interject a deflection. The topic is a black man, black men and them needing to do better regarding black women. If you’d like the topic to address black women specifically ratchet black women and how they treat themselves and men by all means do so and find a LAHH KZbin video to comment on and stick to the topic. Not once have I refuted anything you said about black women; only that it doesn’t apply to me so I’m not offended 🤷🏾♀️but it seems while in you’re offense you attempted to offend black women you inadvertently made black men look worse lol since it’s their responsibility FIRST as leaders. Like I said before your deflection only further confirms my initial statement of why more black men should step up and keep it in their pants and do better towards themselves and women or sit down in silence. It starts with men then women will follow suit. The fact that you’re more upset about my statement and on the defense instead of upset this man is feeding the stereotype of unfaithful and exposing black women to the wolves is very telling...
@sonnid.71224 жыл бұрын
Great Lakes well damn. What about lashes. Cuz all races wear weaves, lashes, nails, ass and titties? Why do black men always comment on our hair. Like damn we been doing hair forever, it’s a staple in our culture. That’s what you guys like right. A black girl without the dark skin and the suffering (excuse me struggle) I mean attitude right? But I do kind of agree those colorful weaves are gettin’ wild. Ladies not everyone can pull off blonde and green... okayy?
@ReysBoomBoomRoom114 жыл бұрын
Was with you until you ended it with Amanda Seals. You then completely undermined your argument the same way you said Terry undermined the good will he'd recently built up. AND for her to invoke being "on code" when shes repeatedly violated that code with not only black men like Myron Rolle, but also with countless black Women who she was at odds with when she was asked to leave that Black Hollywood party last year at the behest of another Black women who among many others accused Amanda of mistreatment. AND let's be clear, Terry's 'good will' asks were targeted and specifically aimed at people he knows could butter his bread in Hollywood. His handling of his assualt by his own words speaks to this tendency in that he specifically spoke of fear of his career being negatively impacted had he physically protected himself, WHILE lashing out and threatening other people who questioned why he didn't, people who couldn't pull Hollywood strings to enhance his career, with the very physical harm he neglected to give to man who assaulted him. He picks and chooses very well and so does Amanda. Whatever code shes accusing Terry of not following, he probably learned alot of that behavior watching her and peoplelo like her. They're very much the same in this regard.
