No one is sayin he had to agree with her, but if that was her experience that he was asked about, he should have just said no comment, not turn around n compare himself to her especially when we live in a world where men and women get treated very differently in most if not all instances. On top of that he was talkin about the acts/singer's being diverse while gabrielle was talkin about staff, so he didnt even know wtf was going on.

Arrishtk Jah Ayinde thats exactly my point, they asked for his thoughts and instead he went on to speak about his experience and invalidate her experience. He didn’t have to agree with her but he also didn’t have to speak, espeeecially if everyone had agreed not to speak til the investigation was up. I completely agree with Loni when she says she is not always good with her words. That's why she has had all these gaffes; like the black man cheat bc of slavery and the Shannon Boodram one, etc. There have been other times she has made statements about her point of view but it ends up sounding left field or just plain confusing. At times, I try to think deeper and understand better where she is coming from altho she was not able to state it in that way. She's made a lot of blanket statements when she could have been more elaborate and specific in her word choices or she may state something jokingly that would have been ok if it were in private but bc of the way she said it and the heaviness of the topic, it comes off that she may have done it maliciously when she didnt really mean it to be (such as the Boodram statement). To conclude, she is just not good with her words. But I try to look deeper and I think she is just mostly misunderstood.

How often we forget the support that has been offered to us. When Terry expressed that he had experienced inappropriate behaviour, although others may not have had the same experience there was an out pour of support for him. Often with discrimination and inappropriate conduct, perpetrators prey on those who they believe appear weak. These situations tend to happen in isolation or around people they know will not speak up. It only needs to happen to one person, it doesn't need to be everyone's experience. The policies don't say if 20% of the organisation experiences discrimination or inappropriate behaviour then we have a problem and should take action. It can simply be an employee who doesn't have the same values or it can be an overall issue with the organisation's culture and leadership. Either way there is an issue and we need to support those who are experiencing it, investigate and take action.

Definitely disappointed in the big homie. Even if that wasn’t his experience, he could have made that point clear while still showing support or even remaining neutral. First of all, I wasn't looking at this racially at all. I do agree with most of what Amanda said. I do believe that the brothers should be supporting the sisters a lot more. But black or non-black, men should be protecting women anyway. I don't wanna be like that All Lives Matter bs, but I wasn't looking at this racially at all until they mentioned it. Second, I love Terry Crews. I really do. I admired his courage and support during the MeToo-movement, him coming out for it. Him inspiring other people, not just women but especially men as well, so all people. And I believe that because he is seen as one of those Silence Breakers, Gabrielle Union and everyone else at this table, especially women who were so affected by the MeToo-movement, would have loved to see him show his undying support, his expected loyalty, his automatic siding with Gabrielle, since he's been in the same place as her before. But should we expect that from him all the time? Aren't we treating him unfairly for that? Not automatically siding with Gabrielle? No assault story is the same. We don't know the facts, he sure as hell doesn't know the facts. He was caught off guard in that interview. So when the interviewers asked him about his take on the situation, I assume he was trying to be positive and give his subjective perception of things. Not undermining or denying what Gabrielle is claiming. I don't believe he is defending anyone, surely, but I also don't have this feeling that he betrayed Gabrielle either. He was being inconsiderate towards Gabrielle, yes, but she was also quick in her feelings on Twitter because she's upset obviously. After her coming out and talk about these sexual allegations, she expected support and anything that isn't support might feel like it's against you. And I know that feeling well, but it shouldn't make Terry Crews the bad guy. 'Cause now I feel like a bunch of women are ganging up on him, for being ignorant. He may have less of a right to be considering his past.. But he isn't the guy or one of the guys that we should be focused on according to Gabrielle Union.

Terry Crews was only expressing his reality...he doesn't have to support issues he's unfamiliar with. Being black, I don't support blacks just because we're the same color, instead I support what I know for a fact is right, and condemn wrong.

I’m so glad Amanda is on the show. She’s the only one who’s not afraid to keep it real and actually knows her facts

She's going to make it "super-woke" trash and bring it all down with dumb "s'all about race" stuff like this

Amanda is such a eloquent well spoken woman. I do wonder if she is one of the women who is holding out for a black man. She acknowledges the lack of support black men have for black woman but yet I can’t see her dating outside the black community. I know it’s her personal life but I would love to hear if she’s holding out for a black man

Just because your a certain race doesn’t mean the situation your in should be supported. It depends on the situation and the truthfulness of the matter. Since this panel of 5 were not there, their judgment and opinions are really without value.

“ The minute I say something wrong, black men don’t defend me”, but if it’s wrong, why defend ?

Benny Garcia I think it’s coz black women defend and are on “code” for black men but it’s never returned. My thing is, black women should stop defending ninjas anyway, period.

Ri Le I think people should defend what they feel strongly about, no matter race or color or sex or anything. If it isn’t your thing , that’s alright too

@@lomomana311 I think that 'on code' thing is BS. If we are to be on code then we will support murderers,rapists, abusers just because of a stupid code. Right is right, wrong is wrong, code is bullshit.

How can he support her if he thought differently? To him he was saying his opinions and thoughts , he can’t stand up for her if he doesn’t agrees.
@lyndseynicollemusic32624 жыл бұрын
He could’ve simply said “you know what that wasn’t MY personal experience but I believe her, and I support her.” Not throw her under the bus and make her look like a liar and then talk about how the show is oh so diverse. As Amanda perfectly stared “there can be racism in diverse spaces.” Black women support y’all ALL 👏🏽THE👏🏽TIME in MANY avenues. And when it comes to supporting and standing up for us it’s pulling teeth. And it’s fuckin bullshit if you ask me. And that’s on, PERIOD.

I love watching this show because it’s diverse, but lately I’ve been feeling like they focus on issues about Africa Americans more than any other minority’s. I’m a Latina I’d like to hear more opinions from the 2 at the ends of the table. I support what they’re saying on all the topics they have about African Americans, I just wish there was more opinions/topics on different races. However, I do have to say that it could be because there are more issues/injustices that African Americans are facing right now. Maybe that’s why all their topics are about African Americans? I don’t mean to step on anybody’s toes, and i don’t mean to offend anybody.

Adrienne should bring in to discuss on the show.

@Narly waves First of all nobody is tailing off of nobody. You do realize you're exhibit A for racism in diverse places right. As long as marginalized people stay divided whites win. Stop with the fake wokeness and educate yourself. The difference is Latinos don't think like to be victims.
