This is a considerate and respectful young woman. She's mindful and aware of the music she makes and how her parents may feel seeing her express her sexuality as an adult. She also showed a lot of care when answering questions about her man. A lot of women would have said, "Yeah, my man wants to fight etc.". Instead she said, "I don't know what he wants to do." and "He just stays out of the way." She protected him instead of getting him involved in some bullsh*t for no reason.

I’ve been a fan of her in terms of her drive and her demeanor since first seeing her on The Rap Game. Song-wise, she’s consistent in her material, though pretty run-of-the-mill to me in comparison to most of today’s more popular female rap artists, but I can’t deny that Latto consistently givers her all project after project. But overall, personality-wise and professionally this young lady is level-headed, aware, respectful and so much more. I love the support she’s getting. She’s grinded hard - she deserves it.

Not familiar with Latto's music, but in this interview, she seemed to be very level-headed and exuded great energy. I hope she's able to stay on the right track and continues to grow as an artist. Hopefully, the dudes that keep trying to come at her will fall back. And hopefully, they begin to not do that all around. Unfortunately, the burden is on us women to set the standard for how men should approach us and treat us. No one else is going to get them to evolve in their behavior and thinking. We need to lay out the consequences upfront. I know that it may come at a cost, because there are some that will try to use their position to stop our movements, if you turn them down. But again, standards have to be set in order for all industries to stop having inappropriate and problematic dynamics between men and women.

​@@nope9905 Absolutely. All men don't exhibit this behavior, but many of them stand by and do nothing. So, this is why I stated that we, as woman, need to be the ones to set the standard. We have to be our own heroes, because men have been conditioned to see us as inferior to them. And even if they don't participate in mistreating us, they know that society thinks of us as second class. So, that alone will make them not set a standard to hold other men accountable. This is also why it's not worth it for Latto to state publicly which men (because apparently, it's not just that one dude) have tried to get her to do sexual favors in order for them to work with her. Once those names get put out there, what's really going to happen - especially if it's men who people like and support? Maybe there will be a short-term backlash, but people quickly move on, and then nothing gets changed.
