I think DL was saying she was lying about him being dismissive. From his perspective, he didn’t dismiss her, he listened to her concerns and pulled the segment. She made it seem like he ignored her concerns and chose to air it anyway, and that it took a cease and desist to get him to not air it. He is saying that is a lie.

After watching the interview with Monique, I must say that I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for her. It's unfortunate that it took me so long to understand the challenges she has faced in the entertainment industry as a black woman, and how many other black women entertainers and black entertainers, in general, have worked against her. Her voice has been ignored for far too long, but now I am listening, and her message is loud and clear. I found her story to be compelling, authentic, and powerful. She is providing valuable insights that are helping me to navigate my own journey towards truth and setting my own boundaries. Monique is brave for speaking up about what many people are afraid to say, particularly those in Hollywood, and she is confronting the issues that have kept us in chains for over 400 years. I can only imagine how much more Monique has to say, but is unable to due to the constraints of the industry. I want to express my gratitude to her for this interview and for standing firm in her truth regardless of who may not agree with her. She is a true inspiration and a role model for all of us. I tip my hat to you, Monique, and thank you for speaking up and demanding change.
