Installing 2nd Story Floor Truss System

Thank you for the video, I just installed floor trusses 19.2 on center cool thing there are black diamonds on a tape measure just for that width good luck brother. I just finished framing and roof on waiting for windows next week

Is there a reason the floor truss is flushed up to the exterior sheathing?

So it can be sheathed on the same plane as the first wall

This is all excellent, apart from the safety concern for the gentleman doing this work. Working on his own walking on walls and trusses up high, it takes a second of lack of attention and dizziness to put him off balance. In my country we build stone/brick walls and concrete roofs, so all this looks rather flimsy to me, and a great fire hazard. It takes great faith to rely on those flat metallic parts to join/hold those truss members together, I just wonder how they hold when the wood ages and dries, and flexes . I lack experience in how those trusses hold the compression and tension members together, They would not be accepted in making wooden spars for aircraft!
