Been watching for a while, played my first game ever last week, and just ordered my fist snooker cue!

A while back I was contemplating building something like this, but I stopped myself because it seemed like the behaviour of a crazy person.. I'm glad I'm not the only one! You've inspired me to do it anyway

Cris from Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA here (about 30 miles north of Miami) 🤗 I love this idea. It takes the stroke trainer to a whole new level. I would definitely buy this if it was available on the market. I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now consistently and catching up on videos even before then. Even though I only play pool, I’ve learned a lot from you that has really helped my game, especially with my fundamentals. Your alignment and cueing videos are on point 💯

I love this channel. Your humour is tops. I have some extra rubber rail (snooker type flat) they are about 40 cm long. If you want them; they are yours for your 1.2 version of Shadys snooker range cueing machine. I can mail them to you from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Thanks but I think it’s ok how it is. I did look for some rubber of that type but couldn’t find anything that looked anything like cushion rubber.

Not a problem. If you change your mind and want to try it, let me know. I will send it as a huge thank you for all your entertaining and educational videos. Its fresh rubber left over from my table I did last month.

Good effort but I'm a bit sceptical on this however. Cant see how you would get any feedback from it on your cue action. Nic Barrow cue action trainer looks good but very expensive. Do you think you could make something similar to that?
@Breakfromlife5 жыл бұрын
I think it can help you Cue straight on with your cue action in general. But will try some other things as well in the future

When you actually try it. It does feel like playing up and down the table across the spots. Where playing into a beer bottle definitely doesn’t

This is quite literally 15 minutes of useless information for me.... Yet this is my third watch ! Looking forward to this becoming a series 😉 I've had an idea of getting a cue ball with a cross on it, and using chalk that leaves a decent mark. Just to check I'm centre ball striking on long potting as I focus on the object ball completely

Is playing on the plywood feel same as playing on the slate? Yes or No? If No, how will the straight cueing on the plywood helps when the people play the real match on the slate?

Seems to me an absolute waste of money time and effort... Snookers all about angles. Yes you may be hitting the white in the middle better but that's all
@Zombies8MyPizza5 жыл бұрын
You also know hitting the centre of the white consistently is absolutely vital to becoming a high level player and is a problem a lot of players struggle with, yes? It's obviously not going to make you a great player on its own, but getting your fundamentals right is so, so important. With practice devices you can use away from the club, you can practice this vital element at home so then when you're actually at the club, you can practice other things.
@0161Jinxter6665 жыл бұрын
The better you hit the ball the better you can play.
