From a Water Well Drilling an Repair stand point one of the better pitless adapter installs along with hydrants. I have no clue where you are located but if you take say 10' of 4'' corrugated tile and slit back the end a foot top an bottom with 2 holes to go around your hydrant then tie & cap/seal off the ends you will create a better drain if you use a hydrant in the winter they aren't freeze proof if they can't drain. Have installed 1000s of that type pitless we hang our pumps on the same water line you buried 160 psi there's no need for 2 clamps use the proper size #16 make sure they are total SS and don't push pipe tight against the shoulder ,heat the pipe a little flame on won't hurt. After you clamp one an it cools remove the clamp just see if you can remove it. Make sure you put the hydrants down on the ground and bed under your pitless adapter well even back fill with sand cause anytime the pipe can sag you create issues lord knows I've dug enough over the years for what ever reason to repair. Good work you did well be nice to see pump & pressure tank install is there a well log on the well and is there a video on the well drilling ? Thanks from a NW OH family of Water Well Drillers since 1966 now 3rd generation ,good job!

I so enjoy watching you two work together, it reminds me of my husband and I doing this type of thing for 55 years now. LOL Lots fancier things they use now than we had to use back then but it's still all working after 48 years of digging our own septic tank hole and drain fields by hand with shovels and I mean..........UGH.....lol You just never know what you can do til you try. In your early 20's you just do it because it's fun and a challenge. HA HA HA and pray it lasts.....never thinking of issues down the road. What a time, that is why I love watching you guys, I'm living my youth again. :-) Everything looks wonderful and good hard work is rewarding and fulfilling, tiring but lots of good energy directed toward your dreams..........Love it! God bless, hang in there and I can't wait until I see the power and water flowing through those outside pipes.......and inside when it's ready. LOOKING GREAT!!!! Come on SPRING!!!! :-)

Wow. Electrical flagged and laid out. Trenches dug for water lines and pipe laid with outdoor spigots being installed. I’m really happy for you. You’ve been able to envision your outdoor water outlets and now they are plumbed and in place where you can visually see them. Congratulations I know that is a big accomplishment. The excavator sure has earned its keep. Well as you push the fittings together keep on pushing forward you almost have running water and electricity. Fantastic. Stay safe

Job Well Done. Yer Gainin' on It. I didn't see you use any pipe dope on the threaded adapter to the pitless adapter. Using both teflon tape and pipe dope (white) is always a good thing to do on those type connections. You might still be alright, but I would check that real close. Power and water coming in will be a great help and you guys are so close to movin' in.

I hope you checked the valve to make sure it functioned well before back filling, I didn't and now my hydrant is constantly on I've no desire to redig by hand a 6x4' hole and hang upside down trying to fix it. Red Green said, you may find the women don't think your handsome but they sure find you handy.... whats that got to do with the price of gas now?? Nothing, I just put it in there... good job as its no easy task of non ending piddling jobs. First things first is to get the trail for electric settled so if anything breaks down, its after the pipe is covered in spots it has to be for the electric. I have forgot the stainless clamps, come very close to putting my pitless in wrong (we have a twenty foot plus frost line) working at two AM and wishing for the PM so the hole could warm up. You have to be very lucky to get water in that kind of soil. Your sure able for a pond if you so desire as clay isn't short there. Gonna shine nice when all done. You really have the view! It figures out about 1,14 gallons of water in a six inch pipe one foot long so that will tell you how many gallons are already standing in the pipe... Kinda just want to look at your video some more as we are getting pounded on with snow today

You also would be safer to put in some shut off valves along the pipe line just in case of unexpected pipe bursts.

You hooked your yard hydrants up wrong. The way you have them hooked up they will only work when your pump is on, which will only be when your pressure tank calls for water. You need a line coming back out of the house after the pressure tank. You can have that line before any water softener.

I am running a cyclestop valve, constant pressure system. The valve will be located before the hydrants in the line. Opening the hydrant causes a drop in pressure which causes the pump to activate. It is really that same concept you are used to, just with a change in component locations and no reserve tank
