Don Eladio is the leader of the Mexican drug cartel, within the world of Breaking Bad. He is typically friendly and welcoming; though he is often unpredictable and ultimately, dangerous. He calls the shots and leads the Salamanca family, as well as Gustavo Fring. His house is an expansive "hacienda" or ranch, in the Mexican desert. It has a pool and is the site of many parties and cartel meetings on the show. We decided that we wanted to see the hacienda in real life. Not much has changed in the decade since Breaking Bad went off the air. It still looks almost identical to how it was portrayed in the series. Come join us as we take a closer look!
More about the show: Breaking Bad is an American crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), an underpaid, overqualified, and dispirited high-school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to a life of crime and partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to produce and distribute methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
