Hoooooolly crap. I just discovered something. If you didn’t know yet, Walter White develops mannerisms from the people he’s killed, such as no crust in his sandwiches and ordering his whisky without ice. In this video, you go over how Jesse hilariously tries to cover up his black eye with makeup, Walter white does this EXACT SAME THING after the fight with Jesse, after Walter has essentially killed him, metaphorically. Holy freaking crap dude

Another great video, also, wow, you really are gonna do every episode aren't you lmao. I remember hearing that fact about the episode being changed to include the actor, and I assumed it was a BS comment section rumor because of how integral him not dying was to the later episodes. But hearing that there was a 6 month gap makes it click a lot more. It's interesting how close Breaking Bad season 1 could've been to a disaster.

Thanks! That’s my plan! In part so I can properly do an “every episode ranked” video, so I’m rewatching with that in mind. It *is* amazing how easily the show could have gone sideways. But yeah, the pilot’s original synopsis assumes two deaths and another strange thing that I’ve never heard discussed but will be bringing up in the Episode 3 video… 😉

I think its perfectly fine that the Acid is not as strong as shown in the Series (which is a fiction series after all, though Vince always wanted to keep it as real as possible). But given the fact, that they did not wanted to give a 1:1 copy guide to how to cook meth, I can assume maybe they used an not so strong acid and made it stronger, so people wouldnt actually have got an guide to how to dissolve actual bodys or hide their crimes effectively. But thats just my guess, if intentional or not, I think its for the better. Loving these videos anyhow, thanks to the algorithms who showed me them, I now will start from latest to newest and maybe become a channel member too, as these videos have some real value.

While I don’t think it’s as strong as “Pilot”, this episode is still great! Like you said, this episode is really funny! Honestly, IMO, this is the second funniest episode. From anything that Jesse says, his dissolving of Emilio, and I can’t even count how many times my mom think about the “My name is Skylar White, Yo!”. It is pure gold! Overall ranking: A-tier, 41st BB episode, and 79th episode of this universe.
