I loved this episode. It brought so much humanity to Jesse's character. Up until now he just seemed like a pathetic idiot meth addict/dealer. But his interactions with the kid showed there's some real goodness to him. It makes Jesse's story seem way more tragic.

You also see it in the way he treats his little brother all the way back in season 1. You can tell Jesse has a good heart.

This is one of the first moments in the show were you get to see the real Jesse. There is such a good kid inside of him, You just know Behind all that depression, lonelyness, addiction, anger. All Jesse needs is love, Clean daily routine, a purpose in life. I feel for his character. He also took the blame for his brothers Joint/Spliff and fucked up his relationship with his parents even more just to protect his little brother. During this show...its very clear Jesse has a very protecting thing going on when it comes to kids....

This is the episode where Jesse becomes an amazing character. He was endearing before, you liked him, but now he has depth, and it carries forward through the entire rest of the series.

That's the harsh reality of kids with drug addicted parents and Walt is supplying those drugs to them. Walt is not the hero here.

They made a choice. Walt definitely isnt a hero, but he also isnt responsible for them getting addicted to drugs. He didnt hold a gun to there head and make them do meth, did he?

Whether people start it out of choice, peer pressure, or in a moment of desperation. Doesn't matter Once you are in it , it warps your mind little by little. You won't notice it because the core of your thoughts are changing. Your body chemistry, your brain chemistry and by extension your whole physiology is changing. Whatever creates the you in your head is changing. Thing of it as hardware and software. If the hardware malfunction, the software( you) works on a dysfunctional hardware. At the end, there is no choice involve, rational thinking doesn't work on irrational mind. How do people not know that? Right the same way you do not know what drugs do to you, so you sit here judging.

11:32 - Walt says "yadda yadda yadda", a little homage to the classic Seinfeld episode "The Yadda Yadda", in which Bryan Cranston famously (and hilariously) appeared. Anna Gunn also was a Seinfeld "alumnus" as was Bod Odenkirk and many of Breaking Bad's guest cast. Pretty weird for such a depressing show! Anyways, you have two Seinfeld vets in that scene, slipping in the "yadda yadda yadda". 😅

He should not have gone alone skinny Pete should have gone with him at least just for back up I know he was on probation and all but still he should not have gone alone to threaten these people and later I think it's the episode after this or maybe at the end of this episode Walter is talking to another student that is not doing good in his class and he reminds him of Jesse and realizes he's just a kid why is he sending him off to threaten some people with a gun when he's never shot anybody except for Tuco in self-defense these could be dangerous people and they could kill him also he wouldn't want Jesse to accidentally kill somebody and have that on his conscience he knows what that would do to Jesse's soul he's too young for that stuff

I was naughty last night Ju. We went out at 5.0pm for 2 drinks & got chatting to 2 couples. It was one of their birthdays. We were going to come back to the caravan at 6.30pm & Debbie was cooking tea. BUT the drink was flowing & we had shots & all sorts. We got home at 10.0pm and I was very drunk. Debbie tried to get me in bed but I fell down & cracked my head on the corner of a table. I got up at 10.45 this morning and I’ve had the shakes and felt nervy all day. I do feel a lot better now though. We’ve stayed in tonight. I think the combination of too much drink & no food was asking for trouble and I got it. Debbie was ok really. There’s no fool like an old fool eh Ju? Glad that you’re all ok anyway duck. Take care mate.

SpiderSnake1999 , I did party drugs in the 80’s and had the time of my life. I love craft beer and wine. I smoked pot back in the day, but I’ve lived a professional and profitable life. All drugs aren’t bad, it’s all about how and why you use them. You only live once. I don’t regret any of it.
