I just want to thank you for your obedience. I was convicted by the Holy Spirit a few times last week to quit a habit. I brushed it off and last Wednesday I started my usual Leader’s Cut getting ready for work routine. This was the message, not gonna lie, I turned it off and went straight to the habit. The next morning the Holy Spirit convicted me again and more intensely. I felt Him say I can’t hear you anymore because of your habit, this habit is preventing your break through for the gifting you asked me to grow in you (discernment is the gifting 😅). I decided in that moment to give it all to God and obey. I’m almost a week into being habit free and I am so thankful. I watch this every week and it has added so much to my life and walk with God. Thank you! ❤

1st thought…”oh I’m doing good I don’t drink or party anymore”. Prays to ask God to show me because obviously my pride is in the way. The God shows me three thing immediately. I needed this

Since COVID I didn’t realize I created a bad habit initially it was from ignorance then normalized and have made excuses but now is hard to break but know my perspective has to change and have to resist the enemy at all cost. Out of my ignorance, I wanted to soothe and numb my feelings which was a very unhealthy coping mechanism. I do take ownership that I have a problem and recognize the grey areas that tempt me and have to resist and crucify my flesh. Another way to look at it is am I glorifying God with my habit? I must hate what he hates and love what he loves. God I pray to cut this habit completely and not be a seesaw making excuses and allowing the enemy in. Conviction is here

The visual I just got from you saying “you have a neighbor who is trying to kill you!” My. God.The twisted, creepy ways a psychopath builds up trust so when the murder occurs, it makes it very difficult for people to believe it was them… my. GOD!
