Yes. If you push the key "U" it will reveal only properties with keyframes (in this instance, the only things with keyframes were the paths).

It's mentioned in Thumbnail Steve... Ai and Ae goes hand in hand so it goes without question... But you can almost create everything in Ae as well... Just use an extrude function available in Ae.... I haven't seen the entire tutorial yet but that's how I would do it....

@@jaiminsharma I was being a pain because I was frustrated but yes I did see later where it mentions AI in the template files and will concede that it IS mentioned. I do NOT think that an AE tut automatically assumes AI will be supplementarily used in a video titled as in 'After Effects - 100% no plugins'. Also you SHOULD watch the vid because it is pretty informative and this mis-titling was my only complaint.
